Hey guys, been a while since I've done a grow. This is my 4th-5th grow and the first time I've seen this before. I've done a search and got many conflicting reports so I thought I'd see what you guys thought about my situation. These are B+ jars that just hit 100% colonization today and I just noticed this little mushroom growing. I'm not sure if I should birth it and dunk it with it still attached or give it the full 7 days after 100% colonization. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

When i did BRF cakes, they would sometimes grow pins. Usually 1 or 2. Id keep it in the jar till after consolidation then just wipe it off. Dunk it for 24 hours then roll it in fine vermiculite. Put a little pile of verm at top of your cakes also and wet the pile with your sprayer. It acts like a resevoir then stick to the normal FAE and misting schedule

This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.” ― Terence McKenna

Got it, thanks alot.. I've just read so many different threads some saying the dunk can cause the mushroom to rot and cause contams to form, some say to pull it off and then dunk and some say if you pull it off itll hurt the first flush so again.. thanks for the input

If its 1 or 2 pins its not gonna hurt the 1st flush. If its a cluster thats a different story. The 1 pin is just premature before the actual 1st flush. Youll be fine taking it off. I did it to my cakes and look at how they turned out below
