Well, this doesn't mean there isn't some bacteria or mold lurking underneath. Only time will tell.
What exactly was wrong with your jars? What were the symptoms?

Who told you to toss? Sometimes people recommend not spawing bacterial grain but it can be gotten away with though it's risky.

I'dk who specifically. But I posted when the jars seemed to stall. They were g2g and they just took forever. They were not even 100% colonized but I scraped out the non colonized parts and used the rest. The community suspected bacteria but for the 2 or 3 weeks they didn't show any signs other then how long they were taking.
These were the jars used

Can I see the top of the lids? Could be a gas exchange issue that caused stalling.

I didn't either which is why I decided to try to spawn them even though everyone who responded in other threads said not to waste my time. I used coir and verm as my sub no pc or pasteurizing, hoping it will stay clean. I read that coir doesn't house bacteria well.

I remember that thread now. I never posted in it but cron told you that they were okay and just needed a shake. You should have listened to him, he has a mod and TC tags for a reason.

Yea I know but I shook one and it never recovered didn't want to risk that with these. So far I don't see any signs of contams in these two trays
