Agar/Pastyplate No Holes in Lid---Will I be alright?

Just looking for a quick answer before I mess with my colonizing agar...
So I prepared some pasty plates in small mason jars, but neglected to use lids with holes/micropore for gas exchange. I used wedges from cultures on previous colonized plates to inoculate. Its been 2 days since inoculation and growth seems fine, no sign of contams, and there's not too much condensation. I know I made an error, but am wondering if I can roll with it.
My plan is to put the plates to grain as soon as they are colonized, so they won't be sitting around too awful long.
My question is, should I take the jars to my SAB and replace the lids? Or will I been okay to let the plates colonize as is..
Thanks guys, hope I can get some quick replies...

The holes are for ge. The mycelium needs to breathe during colonization of the plate

Yes I know what the holes are for, as I said, I made a mistake. Thanks for your reply. I'll take that as confirmation that I need to switch out the lids. I was just worried about opening a jar in it's early stages of colonization...didn't know if it would do more harm than good.

Also, do I need to go as far as pressure sterilizing the lids before switching them out? Or can I just wipe with alcohol and carefully make the switch in my still air box..

If your going to open it i would have you lids premade in a sab then transfer lids in the sab. Just make sure to wipe the new lids down and use sterile procedures while working in your sab.

Well the deed is done. Hopefully the alcohol was enough to kill anything that might have wanted to drop off the lid onto the uncolonized portion of agar.

Pasty plates don't really need GE, the plenum of air in the container is enough. The holes in the PP5 pasty plates are so the plastic containers aren't crushed by the PC cycle. I've had plenty of pasty plates colonize just fine in PP5's with like 6 layers of MP tape then sealed up in a ziplock bag.
With glass jars with no holes as long as they didn't explode in the PC or suck a bunch of air in when opened they should be fine.
