Hello all,
I've just watched Kill Bill Volume I, 10 minutes ago...
For me too much violence, too much blood...I did not expect a movie which gives so much thing,i know Tarantino's style.Too much violence in all of his movies(except one i think, can't remember the name).
For me 'Pulp Fiction' was pretty good.I mean a story beatufily filmed without a message.there was awsome scenes, you could feel the intelligence of the director.i like that film
and again kill bill...boakhhhh blood blood blood, you can again feel the intelligence but it is blur behind the vilonce. i feel completely bizarre right now cuz of that violence.i can't see the point, to kbvI from me
i want to hear some of your ideas about the film,or maybe other tarantino works...

I really liked Kill Bill vol 1. But I was kinda expecting all the blood. I'm not really into bloody movies, but the blood and violence in this movie was so exagerated that it was almost funny to me.

all hail tarantino it's been awhile since i've seen kill bill but i liked it I remember seeing the previews and thinking "What the fuck, charlies angels?!" then I was like "No, it has to be good it's tarantino." I liked it. The gore was cool because it was squirty and unrealistic.
Tarantino's movies aren't excessivly violent there's really only four to choose from Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Kill Bill

Reservior Dogs is very bloody... one of the lasting images in my head about it is Tim Roth drenched in blood by the end. Still a great film tho.
I still need to see Kill Bill

I thought it was 10x better than most movies, but still incredibly lame. All style, no substance. An american director trying to be something he's not by emulating other styles, instead of coming up with something new. Plus the acting was terrible. The scene between Uma and that black chick sounded like college students rehearsing lines.
my favorite tarantino movie is Jackie Brown. Unless you count Natural Born Killers (Tarantino wrote the script, though Olver Stone did change it quite a bit)

from what I heard about the movie the first part was the calm story telling part of the movie, the second part is suppose to be the action packed blood bath.
Now I could be and very well am wrong but this is what I recall hearing when the hype was going strong for this movie.

i heard just the opposite... the next movie is when the catchy tarantino-esque dialogue starts comming up but a lot o the blood and gore will still be chopped in there. more then likely im wrong though. i liked kill bill. i prefer movies with a lot of style then bubblegum crap like titanic.

And don't forget "True Romance". Another one written (but not directed) by Tarantino. And one of my personal favorites as well.
Also, if you are into these types of movies then "Killing Zoe" is a must see. Written and directed by Roger Avary (who also contributed to some of the Tarantino works).

The violence is all references to different kinds of wacky shit. Old samurai movies and anime and whatnot.

I liked it.
