When I first started running PM, I used to leave my monotub lids cracked at night. They grew tall & thick that way, though the first flushes did tend to have that twisted growth when treated like a domesticated cube.
It is not uncommon to see wild mushrooms in FL doing just fine in 70% RH and near constant moving air.

Interesting, I have never tried bottom watering PE varieties except with cased grain/Kramer cakes, they just don't seem to move water well compared to other varieties. Which is why I assume they seem to need so much in the sub initially.

This tub is 8in×6in. Seems like a decent pinset so far.
Had to give a light misting after pictures.

I'm stable out to the third gen. Taking a brief pause to work up some other varieties & getting on with the next gen in January.
