7 Minutes in Mold Heaven....

Heyyy Guys so I have a question.. recently I had a grain jar that had been done for quite a while but I was waiting for the rest of the other jars to finish up.. but when It finally was time to mix to bulk or case or what ever you call it.. It was slimey and sticky feeling.. Smelled normal but just super sticky and I felt like it was a mold or something bad so I mixed it with the substrate and kept it far away from the rest of my trays.. and i have checked on it and it seems to be doing fine..
However today I went to case some more grain jars and one of them looked terrible and so I went to go throw it out and when I opened the jar it stunk horrible and was obviously bad.. but the weird thing was it was the same consistancy and the same stickyness that the first jar I was talking about was..
Do you guys think that the first jar maybe was sticky due to Metabolites or the Mycellium "Pissing itself" or do you think it was mold and I should get rid of it?
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks!

Probably a bacteria problem, not all bacterias will have an odor. You could have a perfectly good smelling jar ridden with bacteria.

Smelly, slimy and sticky surely sounds like bacteria.
Mycelium does not piss itself, that's just a misapprehension of metabolites, which are mycelium's way of fighting contaminants. Mycelium with metabolites which look clear of molds probably have bacteria.
But bacteria is what causes substrates to be sticky and smelly (usuallu a sour and sweet smell, or a yeast-like smell)
