shroomery population survey
#23856780 - 11/22/16 10:13 AM (7 years, 2 months ago) |
|
|
One would think that a psychedelic site such as the shroomery would have a majority of members who are thoughtful, kind, considerate, humble, and 'enlightened' to a certain extent, considering the ego shattering nature of the substances being discussed... So in your estimation, what percentage of the shroomery is comprised of tards who possess few or none of these qualities? Consider such factors as emotional level, intelligence, behavior patterns, and intention (or spirit) which predominates the style of members posting here.

Shattering the ego doesn't imply you're suddenly not an asshole, it's a way to describe the relinquishing of our misconceptions and arrogance in a way that allows us to reshape core things about ourselves. At that point the outcome is up to the individual, which is the whole point. If there was a magic pill that made people not assholes it would be law.

I picked everyone is a-ok because you don't have a ~10% option.
All of us can be assholes at times, but aside from when you guys are "discussing" political-type topics (aka being big, stubborn, idiotic, unobjective, inhuman ass-babies to each other,) I find that I like most of you well enough, and a lot of you a good deal.

I love turtles.

Sadly, with mind-expanding psychedelics, the state is temporary and the lessons learned can be forgotten after the trip. Sad but true

Comparably and as a unit I think the shroomery is comprised of the most emotionally intellectual people on the internet. I am not one of those.
In other regards of intellect I'd say we're on the higher end.

I find that most people on the Shroomery are pretty cool. Even the people less informed i like. I just don't like spammers. As for members that are complete tards, i never voted. I'd say it's less than 5%. Even the people i think are intelligence challenged are probably under the influence of some combination of drugs, which makes it unfair for me to judge.

You condone the use of crack cocaine which is a felony and a bad habit. Girls making spaghetti with their anus is perfectly legal and probably fun.

tortoises live on land and turtles live mainly in water ...i like turtles. When i'm surfing in hawaii there's usually a lot of pretty big ones swimming pretty close by. It's funny the way they peak their heads out of the water to take a breath of air, then look around a little before heading back under. I used to paddle on my board and follow them around, until i learned that they're the main food source for tiger sharks.

Wait, just to be clear does a turtle become a tortoise before it comes onto land to lay its eggs, or does it only become a tortoise once it comes out of water and onto the land? Does this happen in reverse too like a tortoises entering a pool of water and then becoming a turtle, or would it just drown if it did that?

im not sure about this...sea turtels spend a pretty good amount of time on land laying eggs and just hangin out, and tortoises are known to frequent rivers and ponds. There seems to be a fine line here.
This matter requires further investigation...
