I've read a lot of stuff that says its best if you trip in the nature... And at night... Does no one worry about bears, cats, getting lost in the woods, etc?

No. Know your area before you trip. Don't wander far from your campsite. There should be enough to keep you occupied in your immediate area.

So true. I could get lost in my own room when Im shrooming. Be cautious if you go in woods, its so easy to get lost.

Funny story... or hopefully it's going to be a funny story. Me and my best friend/drug buddy are going to go tripping in the woods this summer near a lake that he knows. He told me he had the idea of wrapping a rope around both of us, then to a tree right next to where we'll be staying, so we can wander around safely and not worry about getting lost. I thought it was a hilarious idea, but i also think it'll work. And maybe if we don't take too much, it'll be an interesting sensation when we try to walk too far and get pulled back... can't wait!

Yes it is a good idea. Some of the best times have been in the National Forest in the midst of big snow storms camping. Last winter in particular, every snow storm my buddy and i were out there flippin flalls. Maybe you will also see the trees get up and start dancing around holding each other's hands. Cid is another story. Being lost in the woods, dehydrated, at night with 10 visits of that guy made me have my only bad time ever.

Lie on your back with a cone in hand and think about the universe. Look out for giant puffballs and fuzzy brown balls lurking in hollow logs
