Cubensis potency variation
    #23856326 - 11/22/16 05:49 AM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Hello.. i keep asking myself what is the reason for this.

Last year i received many spore syringes from a canadian supplier, different strains. I was eating 5 to 7g dried to have a good experience. This year I changed supplier and i received B+, the result was a huge difference, i can compare 7g of old mushrooms to 3g of this new mushrooms.

I was reading that cubensis strain cannot vary too much in potency.
I'm using the same method of cultivation. And in the same location, temperature and everything.

I'm really puzzled what could be the reason for this big difference. Any idea ? Could an old spore syring fruit very weak shrooms ?

I have another question, could the shape of mushrooms define its potency ? small, short, symetrical, fat, thick, etc..

Also i need to know if potency vary between flushes.

Big thanks

It's genetics man, each spore is a different strain of those genetics.

Therefore each one will very in size shape and potency.

That's when when we work with agar we try to isolate the genetics that we prefur. (I.e. Potency )
