Do you need to let spore syringes sit out at room temp before inoculation?

Reason I ask is I knocked up a few quart jars of WBS 12 days ago and so far there are 0 signs of colonization ?

I usually keep my syringes in the fridge in a black plastic bag. Wondering if the spores are too cool that it may affect germination

I doubt you would notice since the spores take days to germinate anyway.  They get to room temp within 12 hours.

Why would it matter? They are going to warm up as soon as you inject them. They're either warming up in the syringe or in the jar. Maybe someone else can correct me

I've taken spore syringes directly from the fridge to agar and had plenty of germination.
