In 1962, a six-year-old girl in Oregon experienced a high fever and seizure after eating mushrooms which were later supposedly identified as Psilocybe cyanescens; she died three days after being hospitalized.[4] Similar cases in children (not resulting in death) have been reported in San Francisco.[4] Despite these incidents, the mushroom is not generally regarded as being physically dangerous to adults.[5] Since all the psychoactive compounds in P. cyanescens are water-soluble, the fruiting bodies can be rendered non-psychoactive through parboiling, allowing their culinary use. However, since most people find them overly bitter and they are too small to have great nutritive value, this is not frequently done.

First off your mushrooms are psilocybe allenii. Second ergot cannot live through a pressure cookers 1:30 hour cycle. You should not be using grain without a pressure cooker or it will form bacteria 100%

If you must germinate spores, then agar first. Then drop the agar in the substrate jar. Also, I already gave you advise on what substrate to put inside the jars.

Then you bury the content of the substrate jar/s in woodchips once the myc has grown through most of the substrate...
But if you have a fresh mushroom specimen, then cutting of the stipe butt and placing it on a thin piece of hydrated cardboard is a much easier approach to get some myc going.

Inoculate a jar, wait till the mycelium grows. Shred it up in February and put it outside in a garden bed with mulch on top, then let it do its thing.

Take your standard pf tek recipe and substitute half of the brf for hydrated hardwood pellets. The pellets can be found at most hardware stores in the grilling section, fairly inexpensive. The pellets absorb a lot of water and expand quite a bit. You can steam sterilize these woodlover cakes for 2 hours as per standard recipe I believe. Once cake is fully colonized you can then hydrate, crumble, and distribute to your spot with fresh hardwood chips. These cakes will support most woodloving mushrooms. Thanks RR
gym luteofolius with a thin casing but same cake recipe. However, I have no exp with steam sterilization as I only use PC. Ps. Alenii pretty much has to be planted especially for the noob.

Maybe cyanofillibrosa. Azures can absolutely grow in the same habitat but those don't look like Azures.

Places that are past their seasons of glory but still producing a hanful of small delicate fruits with norre translucent caps as seen in this specimen....

What is the difference between hardwood pellets and hardwood chips?

The difference is that the pellets are compressed sawdust, which becomes simply sawdust once wetted.
