Agar to...?

I've been having trouble contams lately, unless it's agar first. I wanted to go to agar first on my only Agrocybe Aegerita syringe. Where could I spawn the agar too? Rye berries then sawdust/wood chips? Straight to a bran/sawdust/wood chip myco bag? Trying to figure out the best way to do this.
Also side question. I have two failed bran sawdust woodchip mycobags. The LC syringe I got was not good. It is not contaminated though, I think the Mycellium just didn't survive shipping. No growth on agar (including bacteria or mold) and no growth on wood cakes. Can I reuse the bags? It's been a week or two with nothing on them.

I would not take agar to sub bags unless you have a lot. Too much to colonize at once . Usually go to grain. You can possibly run the bags through the pressure cooker again to reuse.

Assuming that bags would be the best way to fruit Agrocybe Aegerita with minimal setup (from what I've read). Just cut it open and throw it in my SGFC along with the cakes I may be fruiting. Right?
Anyone have a better way to fruit Poplars?

Thats it
I would take your agar to grain jars or bags, then to sterilized hardwood sawdust or wood pellets supplemented at 20% with wheat bran. You can use the wood chips but are not needed.

I'm not sure a SGFC will work recommendation of less than 2000ppm co2 to fruit.

So I need more FAE? Any recommendations on how to do that while maintaining high humidity?

Black Poplar use the same setup as King oyster, in general. So anything suited to King's will do.

You could build a martha which is a modified seeding greenhouse. You put a coolmist humidifier in the bottom that runs 24/7 for FAE and air circulation. Then to make sure the humidity is maintained in the 90% range you buy a Humidstat on amazon and use that to control small pond foggers that pipe in the fog to the top of the martha.
I built my fogger from a 5 gallon bucket that has a gravity fed reservoir. The water level is controlled by a small float valve. The fog gets pushed through PVC pipe by a small centrifugal fan that is attached to a speed controller. I built this all for under 75$
If this is too expensive for you you could always try a SGFC and just crack the lid a little. No guarantees though. It seems to work for some people.

Thanks for the suggestions! But yeah, edibles are just a small side project for me. I wont be profiting for them so it makes no sense to pour that much money into it. I'll try the SGFC
