Well I hope you think that radiation is bad, that you don't think it's somehow making you stronger by not killing you softly with its song. I mean you seem to be giving me some flack.

Why didn't science figure out a way to stop us breeding to the point of ecological collapse? That's what I want an answer for.
Or maybe it did but religion stopped it.

I think so.
It is my belief you can figure out the secrets of the Universe with common sense alone. You really don't need math and this and that.
The wisest men in the history of our existence have all stood by one principle: Everything you need to know is within yourself.

They should realize before they criticize that God is the only way to Love."

Science invented the cork, the rubber band, scissors and the vacuum cleaner. What more do you require for birth control?

Science made it possible for us to live side by side. It's called indoor plumbing/sewers. People used to shit in the streets which caused problems. Now it's just dogs that shit in the streets which people seem to think is "fertilizer". Dog owners and cigarette smokers are two of the rudest assholes in the world. The absolute worst is a cigarette smoking dog owner who used to let his dog shit in my yard while he smoked a butt then would drop his butt on the yard to boot. I literally put out a box with all his butt collected in it as a hint, he dropped the empty pack in there just to further piss me off.

Im not giving you any flack, I know radiation is damaging. I know its employed by professionals for cancer treatment, but its awful - I have been through it , my Aunt has been through it, my grandfather has too, and if your lucky it damages the cancer cells in time before they take over, but not the healthy ones too much .. talk about a thin line no?. No flack to you - that was directed at no one in general. Just the general ignorance is amazing. Stay perky, friend.

"Why didn't science..." well science requires funding
With CRISPR it should now be quite possible... guys like Elon Musk would rather spend billions on going to mars and Jeff Bezos on making even more billions and we all know about governments and corporate corruption so the powers that be and those with concentrated wealth aren't really interested and don't really 'think outside the box'
it remains to be seen what china, (and maybe India) where there is much less regulation, and there is science expertise (and perhaps a population problem) does with CRISPR in the coming decade
I think even the more likeable British billionaire Sir Richard Charles Branson is more interested in Space travel than any other science research

There are so many space species out there that we need to wipe out. It is a mighty big job, but I think we can do it!

"Science" does not figure out social problems. Or any thing else for that matter. Its a method. And its applied to the major schools of natural study.
PEOPLE may use research that someone in the certain field has discovered through the scientific method and backing experiment to implement something to create some type of effect on society, thats all though.
Just like "science" did not make weapons. The Atom Bomb for example. Research using the scientific method and experiments led to the discovery of splitting atoms , thats all.
People then took that knowledge and implemented it for their own goals.
Science is not what half of you belive it is.
Science is not responsible, it is a tool, and a tool is never responsible.

Stop confusing and stop saying " SCIENCE RESEARCH" when really you are referring to corporations and entities and individuals using research to implement there own agendas. It is not the same.
oh and to that one guy : Extinction is the rule , survival is the exception.
Its the way it goes.
A scientist may uncover that his hypothesis was not proved wrong by his experiment, that is all.
From that someone may buy his research and use it for their own agenda. Then it moves out of the field of science and into something else, or maybe it is combined with other research that has been purchased and put to make something that furthers one goals or agenda, aka a machine.

Kirk fucked the Prime Directive in the ass every third episode. Of course, they always had a rational reason for such a violation, like all leaders/politicians do.
