Spore print got alcohol on it

I innoc'd a couple of agar plates yesterday with a spore print I bought. I proceeded to wipe down the inside of a small bag with alcohol then I tried to dry it and put the spore print in there (folded up tin foil). Turns out the bag wasn't completely dry, and I got some alcohol overnight on the print, which turned it kind of gooey/wet. I proceeded to make a spore syringe with that. Do you think the spores will still germinate?

I'd say so, spores are pretty resilient, they can withstand a little alcohol

I would say it depends on exposure time. The Alcohol would evaporate fast and spores can withstand some pretty extreme conditions. Now if that was mycelium could but a different story. Its probably ok, best thing to do is try it and see for yourself.

It was exposed almost 24 hours, I'd say…

Holy fuck boys! That shit didn't grow forever, after a literal month I took a look at it and there was about a quarter sized growth! I'm going to do a transfer tomorrow. The alcohol also seemed to destroy all the mold and bacteria, as the other two plates (pre-alcohol) got a fuck load of contams, but these didn't!
Fuck!
