Condensation and agar

Just made some more plates today got a agar to agar transfer and Ms to agar. Both times I have made plates there's been droplets inside currently I have got them opened and turned upside down inside the sab. But is there any other tips when pcing to prevent condensation. I put a paper towel over lids and cover with tin foil.

Most of the time i don't worry about a little condensation, but that's using pastyplates. The hole on top with micropore tape let's it lose moisture after a few days. If they are pastyplates you can try making them and placing them in a sab a few days before you use them to let them lose some excess moisture. Just make sure your sab is properly wiped down, sterilized, and somewhere it won't get bothered.

They are pasty plates but the first time they never evaporated completely and these ones have droplets. Would it be beneficial to wipe down the inside walls with a papertowel

Do not wipe the inside of a plate after sterilization. Some of the condensation gets sucked back into the agar. A little condensation is OK. Try to let the plates cool slowly to reduce condensation.

You can also set them in the sab upside down to. Let the lid collect the moisture. When your ready pop them upside down turning over the plate, then turn the lid and tap off most of the excess moisture. I've not had much trouble with the excess moisture being a problem, but i also foil the hell out of them before the pc. Most of the time they dry out fine for me.

I just wait for a few days after doing the plates and they suck back the extra moisture.
Or if I'm in a hurry, I just open them upside down in the SAB and pour the water.
