Can I use a clear Rubermaid tub for an outdoor mini-greenhouse?

I was thinking about doing a small outdoor greenhouse, and I saw a lot of folks seem to use the clear tubs indoors..so i wondered if it would work outdoors. I live in zone 9, so it's usually pretty warm, and it only drops below freezing a few days a year. I thought the tub might make it easier to take small seedlings indoors if it was going to freeze. I also had concerns about how well the tub would hold up tot he UV rays.
Or is there a better idea for a small, inexpensive greenhouse for small cactus? Or is it just better to move them indoors? Seems like more work and trouble, and less light.

I have and use one of these, https://www.lowes.com/pd/Garden-Plus-2-25-ft-L-x-1-58-ft-W-x-5-33-ft-H-Metal-Greenhouse/3824343
They work awesome, and will protect plants from freezes.
I can not see why you would need one in zone 9,as I never once brought plants in in the winter when my zone was 9. I barely had to cover them in 8B too.
Now I'm in 7A,and some night they can't stay out overnight, even in the greenhouse.

iv wanted to get something like that but i keep thinking even if anchored the light frame and plastic tarp cover just looks like a disaster waiting to happen to the contained plants at the slightest gust of wind.
and i think its still too early in my growing to even consider a $500+ proper green house set up.

Dude,I lost all my first batch of seedlings on a windy day, then I got smart and anchored it to my chain link fence
I have enough money for a stellar greenhouse, but I don't own my house,so I'm not putting up anything that I can't take with me when I move.

Ironically, I have a 1200 sq ft greenhouse in storage... Just no where to set it up right now.
For my outdoor garden beds, I put a 2ft section of rebar into the ground on each side of the bed, and then bend PVC pipe to slide over both pieces of rebar to form a semicircle. Do this every 2-3 feet on each side of the bed. Then cover these with clear poly film. This is mostly just for overnight frost protection and doesn't have any fans or other environmental controls. I thought a small box would be far easier to control and maintain...
I hoped the seedlings would grow better at the warmer temps, and worse case scenario, I could just pick up the box and put it inside in the event of a freeze/hurricane/whatever
