Been doing lots of dating and watching a movie almost weekly. These movie tickets cost about $12, so how can I get them cheaper? Do I watch at a certain time or get a subscription or pass to get tickets cheaper?

Most people who work movie theaters get a few free tickets everyday. Make friends with a worker and go on a double date.
Worked a theater for a year or so and when at least once a week with friends/girlfriends. All my friends had to do was call me and say he dude we will smoke you a big joint before the show at 8, can we go? I'm like yeaa
Concession are deeply discounted too for employees/guests
-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

I would order children tickets instead of adults. Where I'm at, they never check the ticket for that.

Really? If I do that in person they'll know I'm not a "child". LOL. I guess if I buy prepaid tickets from an online source, I might be able to get away with it. I'm curious if there's a universal gift card thing that's accepted in any movie theater? Because there are gift cards for sale out there at a steep discount.

They have self checkout stations where I go so I can buy child tickets without anyone knowing. Plus I can buy a cheaper movie in 2D if I didn't want to spend the money on an outrageously priced 3D movie. It was $18 for an adult ticket for "fantastic beasts."
Another thing, the usher is right after the ticketing station, but far enough where they can't see what I'm doing. And they don't really give a rats ass to check what I bought. They just tell me the theatre number the movie is in. Once I get passed the usher, I'm essentially free. They can't see where I go so I could watch multiple movies with 1 movie ticket

I've checked plenty of tickets & can definitly tell if it's for child or adult.
I think more so than a huge flaw in the buisness, what makes that method work is the employees giving no fucks as anyone will say who works in a theater they aren't paid enough to care. Maybe if they're the ball fondeling manager lovers they will call people out but most of the people who been working there for months give no fucks

Aren't those self checkout kiosks generally priced more for convenience compared to having a real person? I thought I saw a price difference between a self checkout kiosk and a live cashier.
Also, I think all movies are programmed to start at a certain time than other movies to prevent anyone from jumping from 1 movie to another. Ex: a movie starts at 7 and ends at 9, another movie would have started at 8:30, not 9:15 so that way you would have missed 30 minutes of the movie's beginning, etc.

I guess I must run into people who just don't care, I don't doubt it. The tickets do look completely identical from one another, too, with a quick glance.

Sometimes, movies will conveniently end right before the next movie I plan on watching. or maybe I'll have to wait 30 minutes to an hour.
As for prices between the two, I have to look into that.

Not doing it right brah.
Its 2016 kuz. Women are not locked up to the kitchen sink and stove. women be getting that gwop. Ladies can take me out, buy me dinner, and take me home. Not paying for chit.
Movie night them over to your place. Netflix is less then $10. An android box with unlimited internet is even better.
Furthermore, you can be Mr. Beta male provider who buys her chit, pays for everthing, and she goes home to fuck the alpha or you can just seal the deal. If she is not coming over, save your money. Next girl.

Nah I've done scheduling and that's not how it goes. Based on total movie revenue, tickets sold /movie in the theater & competing theaters, times played per day/time slots, and most of all what the movie producers tell the theaters on weekly calls

if you read my other thread on "relationship" stuff, the woman I speak of is the one who eats my asshole like a cup cake. So yes we go out plenty but we split the expense. It would be guilt free if we could save more. We spend almost $100 weekly for food and movies. I guess I shall try to buy tickets as "children" on the kiosk or watch during matinee. I would assume there are apps out there that could make us pay less in restaurants. Instead of clipping coupons, anyone here know of an app that could give discounts at places to go to or eat at?

You can buy movie tickets at Costco usually and they'll have them sold for cheaper.
OP are you a college student? If so you can use a student ID to get discounted tickets.

So who's signing up for Moviepass? $10 a month, watch all the movies you want (1 a day allowed). I just read the news.
