Should i leave it to grow out some more as they are very small at the minute?
Also where would you advise to take a transfer from and how many?

all your pics, the mycelium looks so weak and like its fighting contams, also the fuzzing up in the center is usually a bad sign.

if anything I'd try to take a transfer from 9 o clock on this one. try changing your media/nute source too, see if that helps.
I'm not sure I understand the title here but did you put spores to LC and now trying to clean it up on agar? Rather put spores to agar, clean it up and then put a wedge in a LC if so.

I did change the nutes from advice. Making the syrup and potato a weaker solution and increasing the agar quantity.
The spores are quite old and they were not germinating at all so i put some in an lc and they flourished and i have been using that to inoculate the agar.

its still pretty obvious that this plate is riddled with bacteria.

as I said in the previous post, that 1 plate has some decent growth, you can try transferring that. those other plate I wouldn't bother with.

I have now conducted third transfers onto new plates.
I am wondering if my agar is too mushy as i have struggled to get samples from the precursor plates.
Note to self... harder agar.
