Rye jars stalling

Hi guys. I knocked these jars up 6 days ago and they started looking like this 4 days ago and haven't changed much since. They aren't overly wet but they started to smell really heavily of mushrooms. Smelling up a whole room. I followed RRs rye Tek to the T so idk what might have gone wrong if anything has at all. The temp suddenly dropped here a few days ago. To the high 60s all the time. Think that might account for the smell? I included a link to a picture because this is my sixth grow and I've never seen mycelium spread like this. Have you? https://files.shroomery.org/files/16-46/955547348-IMG_20161119_031626.jpg

Even if your grains are prepped and PC'ed properly, they can still get contaminated. Your vector of contamination was most likely the syringe you used, and or your inoculation technique. I see yeast and some kind of mold in your jars. Had the exact same thing happen to me one time. Not only was my syringe contaminated with yeast and mold, but the mushroom spores were dead too. Apparently ordering syringes in the heat of the summer is a bad idea. Fuck syringes. I don't know what you're smelling, but it is not mushrooms. What are you using for a filter on your jars?

It would be helpful to know how you noc'ed up the jars.
It's taken me upwards of 10-14 days to see growth in my jars, especially when I've done MS to grains. Almost all of my MS to grain jars have looked like this for about a week or so. I start to feel dejected and impatient until one day, I notice tiny little white puffs.
High 60's, low 70's seems like a good temp area to be in.
If I were you, I'd give it a bit more time and see what happens. If they do turn out to be contaminated, don't open them inside.
