I don't want to brag but I've been wanting a real laminar flow unit for over 30 years, so when i had a chance to buy 3 of these at 100 each i about died. Sounds dumb but i like the filters better than growing right now.. SO ID REALLY like to see your laminar flow units and how your set up. This is my set up i think its kinda over kill but i love it, i have two units set on top of each other to make a 4 x 4 unit Im not sure if this should be enclosed ore just as it is

And what did it cost you to move and transport and pickup and go get 3 of those things 150-200? You should sell another one then you can make a dolla.

Is that yours in black and white in your post ?? I had the fungi perfecti small unit before this Im sure one unit would have been plenty but I just couldn't resist stacking two of them
Now that i think about it units like yours are never enclosed

How close to the filter size do you need to work in I/E does the sterile envelope increase a little bit the farther you get away from the filter ?

I'm not sure, It seems like it would though, I try to stay fairly close in though, and in that pic my bags are cooling, before I work I will slide those all to the side and pull them in a couple at a time, I need to get one of those filters! Im sure he still has more! I do need more space, I use spawn bags too and with the sealer right there it gets pretty busy.

Ya space is always the issue ... the only problem with cuttin the wood is you would have to keep taking off the blower and if you go too big then you have to rig something ... ive seen people on here use cardboard and bucket lids to adjust airflow and thats wjen i said fuck it ill use this tub
