The coming regulation and subsequent ban on herbal remedies * 1
    #23846080 - 11/18/16 05:46 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

It happened the last time Republicans were in charge.  Now today I read an opening article by RealClearScience on Facebook.  They were promoting the idea that herbal remedies are bullshit and have no actives.

I find that this is remarkably false.  Herbal remedies and naturally occurring compounds are the foundation of the majority of pharmaceuticals.

Way to go Trump supporters.  Gonna make every damn useful plant controlled!

Looks like I'll be selling black market sassafras root bark and skunk cabbage.

herbals do need to be regulated for quality control to ensure that they contain what they are supposed to.  you misunderstood the article. it wasn't saying herbal medicine is bogus they were saying a lot of herbal products are fake and don't contain what they are supposed to , which is true. they need to be regulated to ensure purity and authenticity.

You read the article?

What I read said a lot more than that.

They have spoke before of banning herbals.

So many cause intoxication.

Nature varies from year to year in the levels of actives.

Sure some concoctions are scams.  Sugar pills.  But any idiot should understand that all their herbs taste like candy!
