This guy doesn't really seem much better than Chris Christie though
I know Trump has said that he won't fuck with the States decisions on drug laws, but this does not bode well for general progress with Drug Policy Reform, which should be TOP fucking concern of every member on this site.
I mean, unless you don't mind the prospect of being imprisoned because you choose to alter your consciousness.
Unless....nah....not even gonna say it!!!

I do have major issues with his stance on drug laws and enforcement, with that being said I doubt drug policy is going to change, Federal drug policy never changed under Obama's AG.
Outside of his stance on illegal drugs, he might be suitable for the job.

Fucking scary. Hopefully he won't get confirmed, but with a Republican Senate what are the odds of that? I can't stand these fuckers who talk about liberty and the Constitution and want to abuse the rights of others.

Yeah, I was telling someone else how Chris Christie ran his state into the ground and his team allegedly shut down public transit on purpose because they didn't want to give into union workers demands . It was only governor for four years and he totally fucked up his state.Quote:

you gave your opinion and then failed at sizing him up, after saying it was him who failed to size you up. you assumed he was saying you didn't support abortion. he wasn't. there was a question mark at the end of his sentence.
he was making an inquiry, and you presumed, from his phrasing, that he was saying that you don't support abortion, which you felt you had to correct him, which is clearly the case, because you said he could be better at sizing people up, implying you thought he was sizing you up by him assuming you didn't support abortion...you wouldn't have said what you said, if you were already failing at sizing him up yourself.
crawl crawl crawl, a little cock-a-roach, luv.

There are bigger issues in America than drug legalization, and yes, I've been a victim of the "war on drugs"
I still wouldn't put drug legalization above everything else

Sessions thinks sentences for drug convictions are too short. This guy is on the wrong side of history.
As a tolerant person, I don't need to agree with someone on every issue to support them
Do you?
I guess rounding up Muslims and Mexicans is more important to you than whether you go to jail for buying some weed or not.

I think hes being put there because Trump has given Pence the greenlight to cherry pick all of his nominees, and Pence is nowhere near the moderate\mentality that Trump is. But Trumpster probably has other shit to worry about like learning what a prez does.

The states only legalized recreational weed recently, and due to ballot initiatives.....the people deciding, not the government. The current administration opted to take a hands off approach. Sessions is not the kind of guy to do that.

In 2014, Sessions said he was "heartbroken" when President Barack Obama told the New Yorker, "I don't think [pot] is more dangerous than alcohol."
Sessions' rebuttal? "Lady Gaga says she's addicted to it and it is not harmless."

Abortions are hard enough on people as it is. Females don't always feel great about it. Some are in bad relationships.
I don't find that there is an easy solution. Thing about life is that there will never be solutions. Only getting thru.

This is what I'm afraid of.
A couple people have commented that there are "more important things to worry about", and I disagree strongly. Going backwards on Drug Policy reform is SO NOT OK on so many different levels, it literally makes me sick inside at the thought.
More than FIFTY percent of federal inmates are non-violent drug offenders. NOT ok.
Sick people NEED access to medicine like cannabis, and then deserve to not be considered a criminal for doing so. Some people in some states can but it is still illegal federally and having someone like this as Attorney General is a major threat to the progress that has been made.
Prohibition creates an immense amount of violence.
and on and on and on.
Fuck men in suits and uniforms telling me what I can and cannot do with my body.

Sensible people don't stay in a room that smells like shit unless they actually have something to do there.
You guys could give me a call when you want a revolution. Meanwhile I'll be eating my plants in a place that hasn't been brainwashed into near vegetation and sees the sense in letting people take care of themselves.
Conservative values are as conflicting as liberal ones. Make a system that limits peoples ability to take care of themselves and then get upset when people live off the system. Say people should be independent and then make a million rules that makes independence nearly impossible. Meh..

It was a combination of things. But the economic ideal of conservativism puts alot of people under. And then there's drug prohibition...
You know I can't and won't blame one sider over another but to me the full ideals of either side just don't make any damn sense. and together they made a strange clusterfuck of half senselessness.

If this goes in the direction it seems to be going I am seriously fucking out of here as soon as I am no longer a POW of the trillion dollar failure called the War on Drugs.

I dunno where I've condemned anyone and I only reference people trying to border hop when Trump won - because it's silly...
Instead I used the key word IF and the decisions in any of those IF's aren't even really up to him. Pointing fingers is what children do, if I leave it's cuz the whole government, and as a result the country, is fucked.
And actually fucked, not just I'm scared it might be fucked and I'm dramatic type shit I used in my comparison.

this country doesn't have enough money to keep non violent offenders locked up and there's too much paper work
unless they did a bloodtest on them while they were driving a car then putting them in jail is just a giant waste of money

This country will be rich. Really rich, so rich your head will spin. We will have so much money, you won't know what to do with it. So, we'll build private prison. Tremendous prisons and put all the Mexican rapists and pot smokers and Hillary Clinton. You won't believe how great America is going to be.

Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump and all the old fuckers who voted for them with one foot in the grave full of fat and cancer and shit... these old motherfuckers need to die already and stop trying to turn back time to how things were when they were growing up. The little kids today who are 1 and 4 and 7 years old... this is their world. This is their furure. These old fuckers who are all scared because they're old and dieing and the world is changing... they need to stop turning things backwards for their own comfort. They're dieing off. Their childhood world will never return. They're just fucking things up for the little kids who have to grow up in this world.

im hoping trumps team doesn't effect the progress we have made in canada on marijuana legalization. I find it hilarious that Jess Sessions trying to claim good people cant smoke pot while doing and saying massively racist shit. And i laugh at him trying to claim it was a smear campaign. If there are multiple different sources claim he has done/said deplorable things its hard to take his word for it that his hands are clean. Just because he got the death penalty for the kkk leader doesnt clear him of any racism because he already said he stopped liking them after he learned they smoked pot.
prejudice towards marijuana smokers is in my eyes no different than being prejudice towards someones race or sexuality.
I want to know if he REALLY believes the shit he says about pot smokers being worse than the KKK or is he just a businessman who is payed to ensure that weed is demonized.

so republicans arent allowed to be just like the democRATS.
the man made a joke 'I thought the KKK was OK until I found out they smoked pot'
hillary days deport the illegals and build a wall and it's perfectly OK because a crook said it
trump says deport the illegals and build a wall and suddenly it's racist

I feel like you are seriously downplaying how racist this piece of garbage is though.
even a black assistant US attorney testified saying jeff called him "boy" and warned him about "the way he spoke to white people"
the guy is clearly trash. I realize republicans love to deny their racism but this guy is just too much.

people are fine being racists (and idiots, though that's arguably not true)...as long as they don't spew their rhetoric as if everyone is stupid for not thinking like them.

okay, I don't agree with him either.
but This makes no sense though, if what you're trying to say is that "jeff isnt racist because he was prejudice towards someone who turned out to have some prejudices", then thats a pretty weak argument side stepping the main issue.
Why is he doing and saying racist shit if he's "not racist"?
i believe he is mentally ill and unfit for the position.

In have never heard of being racist or bias being in any diagnostic material. Should be like being a religious nut job, yet it's not. Both just make you look more crazy if you show that attitude with a mental health record or criminal.
