Tips:
To fully clean RAM (except the Google services, Google other, hog) without any extra apps you can do the following:
Settings > Apps > Running > Stop all (Do twice) > Options key > Cached > Stop all (4 times, roughly). Now swipe to: All apps > Options key > Clear all cache > Exit settings > Quick clean.
Edit "ro.com.android.dateformat=dd-MM-yyyy" in "build.prop" to change the lock screen date format. Once you copy the file you will need to chmod it to "0644" using TWRP recovery.

P90_S150_220518_ROW is complete, and there will be no further changes. I had to undo some device re-names in build.prop, this is because they are tied in with various system apps. If you feel like changing the device name, don't, only the build date and Lenovo version can be modified, however other settings can be changed or added.
You still will see "Uncertified device" in Google play settings, this is because Android is version 4.4.4, and related Gapps are also version 4.4.4. Certain apps will not install or function on android 4.4.4, unless they directly support it, due to modern android changes.
----
"Uncertified devices may not get Android system updates, or app updates." "Apps and features on uncertified devices may not work correctly."
Source: Google support, Google uncertified device
----
You can verify or add a device here (only needed if you cannot add a Google account):
How to Fix the "Device is not Certified by Google" Error
----
If you are using MTK Extractor to make "system" images, the total size is 2560mb.

Indeed, the original ROM supplied with the phone, is full of spyware and issues. I believe unscrupulous third party vendors make their own dodgy ROM's. On a side note, I now unpack official firmware's and inspect the build.prop and general system before I purchase the device.
The official stock firmware's for the Lenovo P90 (S142-to-S149, and S150) are clean.
----
If you are looking for something that will outrank the P90, and don't use NFC or Wireless "ac", here are some ~£140 alternatives:
----
Android 7:
UMIDIGI Z1 Pro 6GB (DC 1600MHz LPDDR4x) -- https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/a19c43fd << AMOLED screen, lighter, more expensive.
UMIDIGI Z1 6GB (DC 1600MHz LPDDR4x) -- https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/804443fc
----
Android 6:
UMIDIGI Plus E 6GB (DC 1600MHz LPDDR4x) -- https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/75363f7d
----
Comparison
----
Android 4:
Lenovo P90 Pro 4GB (DC 1600MHz LPDDR3) -- https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/1b093a1d
----
You can use that website to inspect hardware for devices, then download and unpack the ROM from the device vendor.
You can use the MTK Extractor tool to unpack system.img files and inspect, rebuild or customize them.
Linux will be needed to inspect the original system.img for it's size, I use Lubuntu installed to a USB drive (live version).
Linux terminal command: file /path-to-file/system.img (right click the system.img > properties, for its linux path). The command will output blocks and bytes per block, for example: 1081344, 4096 byte blocks.
Formula: blocks x bytes, result / 1048576 = megabytes.
1081344 x 4096 = 4429185024, 4429185024 / 1048576 = 4224mb.
You can make your own custom ROM using this method.
