Do these looks like aborts * 1
    #23844313 - 11/18/16 06:54 AM (8 years, 1 month ago)

I recently moved and have been gettijg used to my new environment. Do these look like aborts. I have been misting because I know the humidity is not great in new space. I also have a fan on low blowing in it from about 10 feet away. If they are aborts what should i do?

Yes. Thats why ive been misting. This tun b has been wierd from the beginning. It was real slow to start pinnin and then i started misting and the substrate became about 80% and thats best i got it. I wss afraid that my misting was hurting it. I think this isnt going to be the greatest tub. The myc is getting worse. But it doesnt look like mold but it doesnt look like myc

Yeah it's drying out a bit by the look of the yellow myc on the sub edge. Pour small amounts of water between the tinfoil and the sub and let the sub absorbe as much as possible. Pour out or drill a small hole to drain. Careful not to break your sub apart if pouring out.

How long have u been fruiting this tub?

I see a bunch of tiny white pre pins that maybe didnt grow from lack of water.

U could try bottom watering on your tub.

Your sub does look pretty dry... If it was mine I would try tribal dunking the sub...it may help...not sure since I've only got one mini mono grow under my belt

Harvest this flush leave any premature fruits and mist the shit out of it and loosen your polyfill a tad and get rid of the fan blowing on it quick and easy way to dry a tub out

Im also experimenting with hole designs on my monos and even no hole monos but I really feel like you got too many holes

I'd start with a cup poured in between the foil and sub divided equally on all 4 sides. Watch how much is sucked up in a couple of hours... drain or add more based on how much water is gone.
This is called bottom watering btw.  I think it was comebackkid that wrote a tek on it not too long ago.

What do you mean when you say foil and sub divided. I use a trash bag as a liner. So im guessing you mean the space between that and the substrate. I poured about a half cup or water and misted the heck out of it. I read the bottom water tek and hope it works.

Yeah sorry at the bottom of the pic it was shiny foil like, closer inspection its duct tape. That's a good tek. Remember to check for absorption and add or drain as needed
