VERY OLD Contaminated Jars of WBS! eeeeek!

To avoid too much detail, I'll just say that I've managed to get back into my old space. There was some confrontation with a few individuals so I had determined it was best I would avoid contact for an amount of time. Unfortunately, I had to leave a number of items that I had in that space including various supplies. Those individuals are no longer a problem. But I am also not able to ask them where all my stuff went!
I knew I was missing something! Even with finding an old tote full of nasty jars that were left outside! I knew I had more jars somewhere. Today I was doing some cleaning and found something that made my skin crawl.... and believe me these were originally done back in APRIL, of this year. If I remember correctly. I had a number of contaminated jars that I put aside to take care of that weekend.
Well.... since shit hit the fan. Those jars just sat. It is now mid November of the same year! You can just imagine how terrifying these jars look!
So here is my question. What would you do? Would you attempt to salvage these jars? Maybe save the jars and replace the lids in the least? I know jars are not super expensive. But I don't see the need to waste any money. But I am a bit afraid to even open these!
I can post some pictures if you want to see them....

Toss, if you ever plan on growing in a sterile environment again its not worth the risk to your place or your health.

Yeah. Makes me question what else I need to worry about. Everything was super neglected. I even found a cat litter box that appears to be at least 2 months old.
I'll have to do some major cleaning before I do any more projects. I have some near future plans with agar! Not going to let this shit cause any more BS.

I was also thinking about the old jars that were sitting outside. They also look pretty nasty.
If I were to attempt to clean these out. Would you advise actually sterilizing the jars prior to use. I mean technically isn't PC doing the same thing?

The problems comes with all the nasties inside those jars. Bleach kills 99% percent of all germs, then boil everything. But if you open one inside your house you are spreading tens of thousands of potentially dangerous spores in the air.

I just pour the contents in a trashbag and rinse the jars then throw them in the dishwasher. You're going to PC them when you fill them again anyway, it'll kill anything that's left in there.
I think having a sterile environment is a bit overrated. Ofcourse it helps to have a clean environment but IMO there is no need of trying to sterilize the environment. There are bacteria and spores all over our houses anyway, what's important is using proper sterile technique and being sure your spawn is clean and healthy.
I have a dog who constantly gets in and out and sometimes I postpone cleaning my house and it gets dusty but as long as I keep my fruiting area relatively clean, my spawn is healthy and I use proper sterilization for my substrates, I'm not having any problems.

The only thing you need to ever be clean in is your SAB. That being said, don't fuckin fruit a moldy ass jar.. if it's bacterial, go for it.

yeah. I had 3 jars that looked like some bacteria possibly. It did finally colonize. But its just stalled. I see some pins but nothing actually growing. Lots of the yellow metabolies. I was expecting the green explosion. But for some reason it has not. Just seems to be stalled. probably better off just throwing it out.
