Lasting hallucinations after shrooms

Hey all
So, after taking a large dose of panelous cyanescens (52-55 wet grams) in a dark room, every time i look at any kind of pattern or complex thing, it starts shifting and moving. I've heard of this with DXM which i've done once but don't think it was the cause because i noticed it after the mushrooms and the DXM was awhile ago. i've also done LSA as far as hallucinogens go. I can lay down and look at the ceiling right now and it will start moving and shifting. It's pretty awesome as it doesn't interfere with tasks i focus on. I don't believe it's HPPD. Any insight?

It's not uncommon after a powerful experience to have lasting visuals for a few days.
I've been on binges of L and had lasting effects for a week or two.
Give it a few days it should pass, smoking cannabis will bring these visuals back aswell usually, for few days after anyways IME

At one point I had residual visuals lasting for several months after a string of strong trips without a break. At the time they concerned me, but they went away eventually -- definitely within 6 months, although I'm not sure exactly when because I wasn't paying a lot of attention to them.
So yeah. It's not uncommon, and I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. If you want them to go away ASAP, don't do any drugs for a while.

Why would you say you don't believe it's HPPD?
That's exactly what HPPD is. You took a hallucinogenic drug, and now your (altered) perception is persisting....
You seem to be not bothered by it, so there's no problem It'll most likely go away at some point, mine always does, sometimes briefly comes back when I'm extremely tired, happy, or stressed, but it's never bothered me in of itself.

Well the only reason i don't believe it's HPPD is because i read that it's not HPPD unless it's interfering with every day life and the reports i read are more similiar to flash backs, could totally be wrong though i don't know mich about the subject.
