Help..fully colonized substrate after 4 days

So far, I have 5 monotubs that I have done and two of them look like they are fully colonized only after 4 and 1/2 days. Is that normal? I did Damien's coir Tek. I did 5 quarts of rye berries and one brick of coir and 2 quarts of vermiculite. I only have 3 inches of substrate total with all of that, due to where I put my holes too low. So basically, I could not use the whole brick coir and the two quarts of substrate that I mix together out of each 5 gallon bucket. I always had some leftover. But is it normal to have it fully colonized that quickly ready for fruiting?

Yes, you usually see it run fast like that with higher spawn ratios, but sounds like it's running good.

Is it okay to turn on my overhead light to take some pictures? I just don't want to ruin anything with turning on unnecessary lighting. They are inside of a bedroom that get normal daylight. I know that light is only a secondary trigger, but I just don't want to put them in fruiting mode LOL

1 and 2 are still slow. 3 is probably 40%. 4 is probably 90%. And 5 looks like it is 100%. but it's only been 4 days. I did them on Saturday morning

Those are coming along fine, and opening it up for a second aint going to harm anything or throw it into fruiting. Also light is beneficial at every stage of growth. You can wait a few days until fruiting them and let the other tubs catch up to the 100% one.

Yeah that's what I was thinking about doing was waiting for them to catch up. I was just amazed in how fast when mostly people say like 10 days or so.

Those were all actually in a small closet. I took them out and put them in a spot in the bedroom now. Scared I won't get enough yields in the closet.

IME it is usually a week or less, but it can also depend on how fast that culture in particular runs. Good job so far
