Dennis didn't have as witty word play as Terrence. I find him hard to listen to.

So, because the way he talks and strings words together even though his ideas are similiar yet sometimes conflicting of terrences people just disregard him?
Here i was thinking it was about the ideas.

Simon totally turned his back on terence and went off the deep end thinking terence was part of the CIA and all this other nutter stuff.
Really? I have him rejecting the CIA conspiracy theories about Wasson and Watts; citing McKenna to do it and calling out gnostic Media in this interview:
Quote:
this wacky theory that that Gordon Wasson was part of the CIA. It’s just so absurd (...)
I don’t know if Jan Irving knows its bullocks or if he actually believes it. He has got this stupid thing on his site, this brain program, he’s got a chart with Gordon Wasson in the middle with all these lines leading out to Hitler and the JFK assassination. (...) it dirties the whole psychedelic movement. It tarnishes it, you know.
He mentioned Alan Watts and then mentioned that Alan Watts had a handler. That is, there aren’t words for how crass that is. You go on, you look at, there are some wonderful wonderful ah, audio clips of Alan Watts he was a wonderful chap, really great wisdom there, the idea that he had a handler, a CIA handler, is Fucking crass.
(...)
Terence McKenna had it right when he said, “nobody’s in control, nobody knows what’s happening”.
(...)
Psilocybin is a tremendous natural resource because it empowers you. That’s what we should be talking about the actual experience, it’s a shame McKenna is dead you know. It’s the actual experience and all this crap that people like Jan Irvin’s coming out with and you, you, you’ve got some responsibility because you broadcasted, it just muddies the water.

If you have a source for him calling McKenna CIA I'd love to see it.
I could have sworn he turned his back on him. I guess i got it backwards. There was someone who accused him of being on the CIA i thought it was Simon. Sorry about that

Yea the whole Terence CIA thing is forwarded by gnosticmedia because of the quote:
Quote:
And certainly when I reached La Chorerra in 1971 I had a price on my head by the FBI, I was running out of money, I was at the end of my rope. And then they recruited me and said, "you know, with a mouth like yours there's a place for you in our organization". And I've worked in deep background positions about which the less said the better. And then about 15 years ago they shifted me into public relations and I've been there to the present.
http://www.gnosticmedia.com/McKenna-Agent
The way Terence says "they" (when you hear the actual talk) makes it obvious he is talking about the mushrooms, not the FBI. Simon was right for calling out these gnosticmedia fools.
I first found Simon Powell in a youtube interview whilst in the midst of open-eye swirling fractals from a Bridgesii+LSD trip, and I couldn't decide what was more magical, the trip or his talk... you know it's a good talk when the glitches start:
-------------------- Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order: 1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine 2)Amanita (urine drank twice) 3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose) 4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators) 5)Salvia (need to try quid)
All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental. Blessing.
