Keep on waiting. Eventually when the whole surface is too matted for anything to pin, the bitch is done

Did you put your sub back in incubation after casing? If so for how long? What kind of fae is it getting?

No, just put casing layer and leave them in fruiting room (grow room) Here's the room:

FAE is controlled by a fan inside suck air and push to outside.

i've seen growers deal with this situation in different ways but i don't recall any of them being all that effective. the main way involved cutting off the blobs and scratching the surface.
i had an idea that is total speculation but it might be worth considering. could it be possible that you could flip the substrate over and recase it and try to fruit off the bottom which would then be the top? my understanding of the situation is that the cellular structure of the mycelium that consumes the casing layer isn't conducive to fruiting but the surface of the mycelium on the bottom should be unaffected by that. as i said this speculation so if anyone else wants to chime in on this feel free. i think i'm going to post about this the official copelandia/panaeolus thread to see what others think about it.

if the mycelium is turning blue that means it's feeling pretty stressed out. and that yellow color is probably infection developing. if the yellow color increases it would probably be a good idea to get it out of your fruiting chamber immediately because you do not want that infection to spread. with overlay as bad as this is i don't think you're going to get any fruits off those substrates. if it was just limited to certain areas there would be a possibility but when it is as widespread as you have it here it's highly unlikely.

The yellow is drying, dying overlay mycelium. Patching it won't do shit, that shit is fucked. I too highly doubt you'll see fruits.
