Shroomie Garden -- Wavy Caps in the November Rain 6

Its with happiness and not without pride that I show you something nice: Psilocybe cyanescens muchrooms, in the moss, in a moist corner of my garden.

They were grown using initially my own brand of conventional shroom growing and afterward to enrich the substrate my gobsmacking yet effective technique of direct-fresh-mushroom-to-woodchips that is very useful for mushroom hunters known as the Woodlover Smoothie TEK

Photos courtesy of my oldest lifelong friend, who suffers ALS in an advanced stage. I hope he'll see my next harvest but, time is ticking away mercilessly. Here's to you my beloved friend

It was raining at the moment, a cold november, the caps glisten with moisture. The caps are beautiful caramel with some bruising as you see.
My friends, yet another year, I take care of the shroom needs of my closest tripping friends and me with my labor of love that started in 2006, ten years ago, and showed its first shrooms that season, and for the past ten years the bed has been propagated with garden techniques, NO lab work was done.
Thank you Anno of days bygone for inspiring me to do this. Thank you Shroomery Sponsors for empowering me.
Ten years, and not a year without lovely cyans ever since

I was hoping you'd post these! Your original outdoor cyan post got me to make the Outdoor Cult forum (as slow as it is).. and that other place people hang to talk of saprotrophic mushrooms.
Nice boomers you big old sexy bastard. Where did the spores originate and have you sent them for genetic sequencing? Are they European born and raised? Holland..?
And my gosh, I'm so sorry about your friend with ALS.. I don't even know what to say.. I just wish you and your friend hope and love and harmony.

The spores originate from the new world unfortunately, I had much rather had them be old world spores.
A Cyan is not a Cyan!
Yes ALS, its horrid. He always knew. He is a Hindu. As a child he was given a name astrologically that made clear he would not be old and all his life he said he never wanted to grow old.
He will probaly die before 50, and young shroomerites, dying in your forties is only halfway through the race, its not all that old.

Awesome patch.
A goal of mine is to be able to hunt the wild actives found in the PNW, which include cyans obviously. I have read some people get muscle spasms from cyans/azures, and am wondering if you have ever experienced this Asante. I have taken heroic doses of Psilocybe caerulescens many times which is a lignicolous species too, and would often feel mushroom drunk but never weak in the legs, just a bit uncoordinated. I believe the wood lovers are sometimes known to cause this muscle weakness.

I take such low doses of cyans, seriously, doses I take of dried cyans are typically 1/6 of a gram or 2-3mg psilocybin. I don't get the spasming or paralytic effect.
Shrooms are very disturbing to me, a little goes a LONG way with me.
So, my tiny patch is all we need for some time to come.
Its so organic is awesome. You feed it wood chips and it grows and fruits, no sterile technique in a decade, just add fuel to the fire and it keeps on burning.
So natural!

Cool stuff, and I like the idea behind the thread.
Having said that, I really think you should consider updating your camera.

YES! I remember your post on the smoothie tek. I really want to try to grow them here in Colorado, but I don't think it is cold enough for an outdoor grow. I also watched the hamiltons pharmicopia recently on mushrooms and those sugar cane shrooms look fantastic.

Look at that guys, 12 grams of fresh wavy caps. My buddy came fetch them during my MXE session so he could show his eastern european girlfriend who is very much into hunting edibles and recently had her first shrooms - to show her for determination purposes.
They'll take a lil trip on them later.

I have linked my techniques in the first post. Havent done lab work in a decade, once its in the wood its virtually indestructible, you kust keep mixing it in with fresh chips.
