Yeah those pacific northwest cities like Seattle & Portland seem like they'd be really cool.

Tell you what, for as much flack as Chicago gets for being a war zone -- and it is in the bad areas -- the actual downtown is one of the coolest downtowns you'll ever come across.

It's massive. Bustling. It's the second biggest downtown in the US only behind NY. It's a true metropolis.

Chicago's a really cool town

My sister is gonna be graduating from the school in Madison Wisconsin. This coming spring. Going to go to that than visit chi town. I'm excited to check it out.

I just mentioned it because the Grand Canyon is located there, and that's where I went.

I hope to visit Honolulu, Chicago, and Portland some time in the future.

You'll have a great time, dude. I was blown away by it. Had no idea it was that massive. And there's certainly no shortage of great bars/restaurants/sites to see & go to. Me and a couple of friends spent a few nights there like 4 years ago.

Also another great thing about Chicago is you can ride the subway to get around and then walk it to mostly anywhere you wanna go.

Yea. That's how I saw it. I got accepted. To asu and nau. And about 6 other colleges up and down the west coast.

I was wearing shorts as Phoenix was fucking hot but the grand Canyon was freezing. But I did drive around flagstaff. Beautiful it reminded me of home. Alaska.

The first time I was in Seattle I was like a kid in a candy store. The buildings are so tall. Anchorages downtown has 2 not all that tall buildings. I'm used to it now but man I was on one. I was 20 at that time.

I went down here for my cousins wedding. Spent 2 days just mobbing around. Some guy was trying to get me to donate to the red cross and I just sat down looking straight up and couldnt see the top of the building.

Ma was like you want to go to sisters college graduation in Wisconsin. Eh. We're going to go to Chicago Illinois. Yes take my money sounds fun.

 Yep, I had a similar experience when I was in Chicago. I mean I've been to big cities before (Dallas, Houston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Denver, etc.), but nothing like Chicago (haven't been to NY yet).

I just remember walking downtown, and looking up -- I could barely see the damn sky. All I could see from every angle were skyscrapers sky high all around me.

I've been to Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Berlin, Ankara, and Vancouver.

Vancouver was my favourite, man. So much space and green in a big city, it was unreal.

I do enjoy walking around wrecked in Amsterdam, tho.

Oooohhhh yeah, I heard Vancouver is the shit. Vancouver's easy to forget about but from all accounts it's undoubtedly an elite, world class city.

I hope to visit Cape Town, Amsterdam, and Sao Paolo one day.

I never been West. I knew Chicago my whole life.I liked Boston cause I met up with Dropkick Murphy's connections there, and got treated great. Atlanta was pretty nice. Miami is cool , but if you don't know what your're doing it's a very expensive tourist town.

Ya I was just baffled and so invigorated by the city. There are people everywhere! All the time. But I lived in Seattle for a bit it really isn't that big. But that baffled me. At first.

I get really excited about such things.  So I'm definitely excited to experience an east coast city like Chicago. Haha I'm going to get super lost but that's a OK with me.

Once you're in Europe, you can travel all throughout Europe very cheaply with the EU rail. If you're under 25, train rides between EU countries are unlimited for 3 months, and you can get this pass for $600.

Same thing with Asia. If you make it to one Asian country, you can pretty much travel to any neighboring Asian country for roughly $100 per flight. So if you're in Thailand, you can travel to Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and Phillipines for pretty cheaply.

That's the smart way to travel. That, and you should choose countries where the currency is weaker than the dollar at the time, so that you get more bang for your buck.

The most expensive one was Australia, not just because the flight is so expensive, but because everything at the store is also much more expensive because all goods basically have to be shipped there. It sucks Australia is so far away, it's my favorite country that I've visited. But I can't imagine going back again without exploring Latin America or South Africa first.

My next vacation destination will be Costa Rica. If everything pans out I hope to be there by March next year.

I forgot I've been to a couple more cities: Okinawa, Kobe, and Osaka. Okinawa is probably my favorite of all time, I imagine it to be just like Hawaii but even more secluded. So much privacy, it's like you're on your own private beach.

There are constantly travel deals circulating online. I see 10 day China tours with airfare for $1500, 1 week Iceland resort stay with airfare for $600, etc., you just have to look around.

My sister did a year abroad in Brazil. Speaks fluent Portuguese now. Basically has a second family there she came home last Christmas and she spent more time skyping with them than talking to her actual family.

Mom was in the hospital last time I talked to her she was in Amsterdam. I think she's back at School now. Well no we've been arguing about the Trump election. So she definitely is back in Wisconsin.

That's awesome, Sao Paolo is one of my top 3 cities I'd like to visit most. Brazil is definitely a country I'd like to see some time, I just know it's dangerous there so I probably wouldn't go without some friends or a boyfriend or something.

That's awesome your sister travels a lot. You never visited her while she's in any of these countries? You should! You'll have the time of your life.

Miami, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Atlanta, San Fransisco, Manhatten, and Denver. Denver was the coolest, Manhatten was incredible, Tallahassee is cool for college students and Gainesville is kind of fun. Miami and San Fran were garbage IMO.

Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Quebec city, Orlando, Puerto Vallarta, Atlanta, Washington DC, Fort Lauderdale, another one in The US which I can't seem to remember right now.

I'm gonna have to go with my home town of Ottawa as my favorite. Sure it's where fun goes to die, but I still love it.
