I've only been to a few, generally don't like cities, don't like traffic of feet or of vehicles. My favorite is the one I'm from because at least we have some level of respect for history/culture and environement. Never been to another city that has so many natural parks and unofficially sanctioned land.

A good amount, however I've been to way more natural wonders and national parks. I've been to about 10 big cities though.
Short List of big cities I've been to
L.A.,San Fransisco,Sacramento,South Beach, New and Old San Juan (Puerto Rico),Tuscon,Victoria B.C.,Anchorage and some I've driven through/been to the airports. I live in SoCal and travel a lot so I've been almost everywhere in SoCal. Every major and most minor beaches i.e. Ventura,San Diego,Venice,Santa Monica pier,Malibu,Pismo Beach,Jalama beach. Then I've been to and a lot of places in SF. Big cities like L.A or N.Y. takes decades for one person to go EVERYWHERE in the cities. They're fucking huge cities. Hell im in L.A. County and it takes over an hour to get to L.A. itself.
I love the historical sites, national parks and museums though

only 4, I could list em: Vancouver, Calgary, Prague, Athens... that's it actually. I'm not a city person, but of those Prague is the coolest. Athens is something of a chaotic shithole, Calgary is whitebread boring, Vancouver is a mixed bag, with nice yuppie bits and then shitty asian bits where the signs are literally in Chinese, Prague is a cool mixture of artsy leftist modern buildings and medeival architecture, cathedrals and narrow alleyways and shit. Plus lots of weed and a liberal attitude towards drugs and sex which is nice.

I've been to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
I can't stand going to Toronto, way too many people and all the buildings make me feel claustrophobic. It's pure anxiety. I would never live in a city. I'm a small town dude and I always will be.

If you're talking large cities I have spent enough time in to get to know a little (no particular order): Boston NYC SF Portland(OR) London Providence Philadelphia
I've been in tons more medium sized cities, which I tend to like more, and some other big ones that I really just spent a day or two in like Orlando Burlington Cancun
My favorite would probably have to be Portland. It's definitely the coolest place on the west coast. I tend to like more run down cities on the east coast, old mill towns with abandoned brick buildings, townhouses, fewer police, and less pretentiousness. If I had to live in a city it would not be a major metropolitan one.

Many..... Paris is cool because it is Paris and the wine/food/art/women are all amazing, plus morrisons grave, and the cemetery he is in generally. Many famous people there. I do not speak French well so I can't type the name of it hahaha. but it's dirty as sin. Amsterdam, cool, also dirty and mean. Denver is my favorite! Kind people, beautiful, vibrant, clean. Awesome place to stay a few months, too expensive for me. I did some urban camping on 16th street mall for a good little bit, I was dirty, but very happy and the people were polite even to a "bum". There are so many I could go on a long time. But those are a few. Dick

I been to a few but my favorite is Portland Oregon.
Its so incredible there. Art and amazing decor every corner! Shitty part is all the homeless, pretty sad and dirty. also the street people always ask for stuff. Incredible buildings, resturants, music etc.
I have the most experience in Portland thou, so likely why i like it so much.
Been to Seattle a couple times, much cleaner city, very cool place. A little more confusing there.
i hate driving in cities but walking around is pretty fun.
my third favorite is LA. really crowded and some sketchy areas but so much history and cool resturants and places. not a lot of experience there but its real nice.
Ive been to Honolulu. Place is pretty cool, huge buildings in paradise. 4th favorite.
Ive been to Reno and Las Vegas. Vegas is dope but not into gambling. Same with Reno, cool hotels but not into smoking or gambling.

And that seafood wharf is awesome! highly recommend. So much psychedelic history in San Fran, so awesome

Seattle takes a bit of learning. It's not like most metropolitan areas. It's north and south. I Call all of King County the Seattle area. Including Tacoma. It's a huge area spread along the Puget sound.
Personally I didn't care much for Portland. It's ok I suppose too many homeless people and general trash.

In the USA only:
San Francisco Los Angeles San Diego Seattle Austin Dallas Philadelphia Boston New York City Kansas City Santa Fe Mesa Lake Havasu Flagstaff Salt Lake City Aspen Las Vegas Jersey City Washington D.C.
I am sure there are more cities that I've been to that I just can't remember for the time being.
I'm sure if I ever visited Honolulu, it would be my favorite city. But for now my top favorites are San Francisco, DC, Boston, then Seattle. In that order.
I would love to live in Georgetown, it's a beautiful district of DC. San Francisco is also very eclectic and modern and chic.

Tell you what, for as much flack as Chicago gets for being a war zone -- and it is in the bad areas -- the actual downtown is one of the coolest downtowns you'll ever come across.
It's massive. Bustling. It's the second biggest downtown in the US only behind NY. It's a true metropolis.

Chicago's a really cool town
