A question for the pickers

I've noticed over the years after a season of picking my hands get tiny bumps that turn into weird dry peeling skin. The first year I thought it was from working with wood chips that had been soaked. Another year I was sure it was from the dune grass. This year I'm wondering if after picking cyans that cover my hands in spores are causing the dryness. Has anyone else noticed or had this issue?

There just blisters... how have you never gotten these besides shroom picking?

I have these tiny little bumps on my hands and finger too, I don't think they are warts. I never noticed them before mushroom hunting but correlation is not causation, it might be from picking my nose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mine aren't red, they are just little raised bumps. They don't look like a rash or anything.

Yes similar with no noticeable clogged pore. Almost unnoticeable until the skin starts peeling. One year it was really bad and my cuticle would swell and I could squeeze out pussy blood. I had to quit picking as I was worried it was unhealthy for consumption....gross.
I pick my nose all year long. I don't go knuckle deep and it only appears in the fall. I'd hate to say but possibly the mushroom spores get up in the pores and cause folliculitus. That's actually kind of a fitting name. I'd say it could be any mushroom but this year I did not pick up randoms to possibly narrow the species. It could be cyans, azures, hedgehogs, winter chants, chants, boletes, or oysters... Idk
Yup no redness. Just very tiny raised bumps that dry out and peel. Goes away a few weeks after the freeze.

I was gonna say that the bumps are miniature bumps similar to stinging nettle without the sting.

Maybe you're just getting "old people spots"

Oils and tannins from the chips or small splinters you can't feel working their way out..? You might just be getting callouses. Corn husker's lotion works well if you have dry and cracked hands. It could also be a yeast infection on your fingers. Do you have delicate unworked hands?
