Finding shrooms in the east of England

Hello dudes hope you are all having a good Autumn I'm not because my mushroom guy is being really shit with getting shrooms then selling them so I really want to find some myself ive looked for the last two years on fields and in common places I could think they would grow I live in Suffolk about 20 minutes away from Lowestoft or about 40 minutes from Norwich please can anyone help ive looked around but just am not having any luck I have even been sent to a place where someone said they found some but still nothing Thanks

You'll just need to get out looking. If you haven't been hunting liberty caps before, I suggest you read up on the species' characteristics prior to going out looking. Bring a camera with you, take good pictures of the mushrooms and post them here, and you will get identification help.
Be persistent, and you're bound to find what you're looking for - sooner or later.

Hey thanks for the advice I have been out so many times and I always find ones that look very similar but the don't have the nipple like libs do ill keep looking I'm going out tomorrow is there any more advice you could give?

Yes - if you see other kinds of mushrooms growing in the same kind of habitat as liberty caps grow in - take that as an indication that you might find the right ones in the same area. Be aware that liberty caps are often more difficult to see than many other species - they tend to blend in with the background. Crouch down and look carefully through the grass. And again - don't forget to bring your camera, that is very important!

I'm now looking on google earth I will be going out for 4:30AM if all goes well as ill need to walk some distance and hopefully I can get spiritual tomorrow night
