so MS to agar
drop 1-2 drops onto agar let colonize and transfer a clean section to a new plate.

so how long do I continue transfer exactly?

would i be better off cloning a fruit?(time wise)

You just need one transfer to get the mycelium away from the spore solution. You can inoculate the grain with the colonized mycelium of the second dish if you want. Further transfers are made to isolate fast and healthy sectors.

I would recommend to use the second plate to inoculate grain.
- Grow it out until you have nice fruits.
- Clone the desired mushroom.
- Work with the clone

This is the best way if you are new to agar IMO.
Later you can try to isolate and test the isolates.

Transfer as many times as you see fit either to clean it up or if it out grows the plate. A tissue clone will be faster to grow than germinating spores for sure. And you'll also have more of an idea how that genetics preform.
