Where to store cakes awaiting PC?

Hey, I have a 12qt PC that was extremely cheap (only $30!) but too cheap. The shit stopped working after the second use. I'm taking it for return today, and found a great one on amazon for $50 (and 22qt!)
Question is, how can I store these cakes that are awaiting PC without them molding too much? I mean it'll take at max 5 days for the other PC to get here (hopefully only 2 since it's amazon prime).
P.S. what do you guys think of this 22qt one? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RNH7PQ/ref=twister_B00IRXMRY4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Maybe the fridge? That slows down all microbial growth as far as I know. Or just start over, the mix is cheap/quick to mix, but w/e.
Nothing wrong with the cheaper PC's IME, just don't let it boil dry. I mean never let a PC boil dry but my 50 dollar presto warped pretty bad when I did.
Really I kinda regret buying my fancy AA, over 200 dollars to have the exact same product except its tough as fuck? Not worth it IMO

The PC I have for some reason started just letting steam out of the safety lock and the lock won't close so it doesn't pressurize anymore.

Also it's not a regular cakes, they're woodlover cakes. Sawdust, wheat bran, BRF, and Verm, and there's 3 pints of it so it's not that cheap.
