WRONGUY's- Easy Monster Bulk Tek

I was reading this old thread: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/6183348/fpart/2/vc/1#6183348
Which had a reference to WRONGUY's bulk tek on this thread: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5252633/fpart/2/vc/1#5252633
Basically, WRONGUY would put all his mixed (untreated) ingredients into a filter patched pc bag: -poo (unpasteurized) -grains (unsoaked/ straight from the bag) -verm -coir -etc
He will PC the bag/substrate and then knock it up
From why I understood, there is: - No grain soak/ simmer (which saves u time) - No pasteurization (saves u more time)
Does anybody still use this method around here and how effective is it? It seems like a easier way to do bulk, which saves you a lot of time, but I do not see it mentioned to often now in days

Lots of people do that in jars these days. It works just fine. It's actually a common method for edibles as well.

Is there any real benefits to doing it this way?

The unbroken colony saves on energy not having to repair itself and any bacteria in the spawn is less of a mold vector when the grain is not spawned in open air.

I bet it take a ton of jars to make a tub or is this a fruit from the jar kind of thing?

Fruit from the jar. 13-15 usually fills a bigger size mono. You get a really good BE with them.

Saves a lot of time : - No grain soaking/ simmer - No pasteurization - Etc
Its seems like a BRF tek, but in a huge filter patched bag, correct?
Its unfortunate that WRONGUYs tek doesnt go into detail, but am definitely going to try this.
My only last question on this, am assuming once the bag is fully colonized, the spawn has to be broken up to fit it into the tubs, right?

I would just fruit from the bag myself. Why break it up and waste energy recovering.

Does that jar go in a mono with higher substrate level holes? Open air or sandwich bag fruiting?

OP I haven't seen you asking questions about agar in any of your weekly threads, which makes me think that maybe you aren't using agar yet. How are you going to inoculate those bags? Spore solution is not the way to go with those.

I have done quarts and pints. The pints are usually the pp5 ziplocs. Bodhi did glass pint jars tho.

Well if he wanted to noc some plain grains in quart jars with spore solution then yes but he wants to do bags with more ingredients, which will make colonization even more difficult or impossible if he uses spore solution.

Yes, before anything, I do clean it up with agar. As far as bags, I am assuming that LC is the way to go, but then again, as I stated, WRONGUYs method is not to detailed at all.
It will be helpful if someone can link me to his detailed method, because as of right now, to me at least, theres a lot of fill in the gaps to his tek that I will like to learn.

That is probably as complete as it gets. Back then loading pics took days or weeks, the site barely worked. People were expected to get some measurements and figure the rest out on their own. It's not like it is today where we have idiot proof teks written with loads of pics and video with 24/7 technical assistance.
I'm not sure what the issue is. Mix up the sub, sterilize in bags, inoculate with LC. Sounds pretty straightforward to me.
