Stalled Monotub, help please?

Tub was spawned to bulk on 10/31. This picture was taken on 11/7. After four days there was absolutely no change so I put the tub into fruiting.. It seems like the tub is actually de-colonizing (if thats a thing) I assumed that if it needed to colonize longer it would continue to do so until it was ready to start pinning, but it actually appears to be losing mycelium, atleast on the surface. There is strong rhizo growth coming down the sides of the substrate to the bottom of the tub. The top of the substrate appears to be matted so I've started fanning it this evening..I'm at a loss right now. Any help would be appreciated.
11/7 while still colonizing

11/12 1 day in fruiting

Yeah it happens, it'll be alright. Perhaps your sub was a bit too wet when you prepped it. Prep it a bit drier next time. You should still see fruits though.

Ok. I adjusted down on the next two that made. So I'll see if that goes better for me. And I really hope so (fruiting) because I have no idea what I am looking at right now. It's all kinds of crazy colors right now, I don't know what the fuck is going on. lol.

This is today...I honestly don't know what I'm dealing with. Why is it so blue and grey? I adjusted the poly on my bottom holes because I did not feel that they were stuffed very tightly. I'm wondering if the poly was too loose on the bottom and it was drying out the mycelium which is why it's been blue. The tubs seem to be holding humidity better at this point, just based on the rings around the holes..

Bacteria. Idk what species sorry. It's all up to the mycelium if it's savable. The moment any mold germinates because of the bacteria weakened mycelium, consider it garbage. Otherwise, just keep it properly hydrated and pray for fruits.

Damn, well alright. Thank you. So I suppose I'm looking at dirty spawn then. Thought everything was clean when I spawned to bulk, but I guess not.

Bacterial. Looks pretty bad, I would fruit it now and pray.

Damn, well there's my second confirmation. I have three that have been in fruiting since 11/11, two of them are PE, they're both blue and weird looking. Started to smell somewhat sour this morning when I checked on them, definitely no mushroom smell like I get from the grain jars. The last set of pictures is the B+ tub which is at least not a bunch of weird colors. I'm not quite sure how this happened. I thought the spawn jars were all clean, definitely smelled like mushrooms when I spawned to bulk. I pasteurized the CVG substrate. I'm wondering if I put them into fruiting too early, I don't think they were at 100% colonization.

The only thing I can think of is that I've been mistaking bruising for contamination. There are blue spots on both of these jars. The two tubs I spawned to bulk had similar.. These jars are from a G2G on 10/31.

I was supposed to spawn to bulk 7 of these today, but now I am hesitant, so I shook all of them and am waiting to see if they recover.

The spawn was bad. You can fruit at anytime and it won't hurt a thing. Bad spawn will often smell mushroomy yummy, look white, but still be fucked. You need to use other indicators like growth pattern and recovery time from shake to tell.

Those look sketch to me. I would case and top fruit.

Ok, I'm glad you agree. So I'm obviously missing something in the spawn still and I have no idea what. What do you mean by case and top fruit?

When the jar is fully colonized open it up, clean any debris from the rim and dump a half inch of coir/verm on it. Then fruit the jar in a SGFC or monotub. Could even just put a ziploc baggie over the mouth. That will keep the colony from molding from the bacteria and give you some fruits for your trouble.

Second time today I posted that lol

Ok thats a good idea! I will look into that more, thank you. Certainly better than a) throwing away spawn that might be ok b) risk losing an entire monotub. I'm basically deciding that I need to go back to spores and agar so I can clean up this mess I have created for myself. I obviously still have some bacteria hiding in my spawn jars. Luckily, the next two monos I have going look much better than my first three.... I'll see how it goes. Off to a better start though, that's for sure.

Soooooo after a few more days those tubs completely wreaked so I tossed them and started over. I feel like my procedures have gotten better. I increased PC time on grain to 120 minutes. I'm not getting bluing in my jars anymore and the spawn I have now is colonizing the jars faster. I think I had penicillium (sp?) amongst other things but that's just a guess. I also went back to agar because I need to try again on the B+ because what I had was completely fucked. What do the two of you think of these two tubs, any suggestions?? I used Frank's CVG tek and they are 7:14 or 8:13 with PE. I spawned to bulk on 11/17, introduced to fruiting on 12/1.
The sub cracked when I moved it off the bottom shelf.
 This is flash/no flash obviously

These are popping up on the mono that has a crack in it. I covered the grains with the last two quarts of sub that I had. I posted this in TNF also but just thought I would share with you two. I have six tubs in fruiting right now. It took me about a month to recover from the last debacle.

Looks like Lencacillium bubbles. Unless it's PE, then it might just be blobs.
