Is Pokemon two games and do you need both to play? I don't know anything about the game or pokemon in general, but I seen that it was $120. I played a game where you take pics of pokemon and that one where you walk around and find them. I wonder if I should get this new one for Nintendo Switch. I want to try the new Luigi game too.

It is two games, but the difference is what pokemon show up in which the covers are of the two unique legendaries (Sword is a wolf with a sword in his mouth; Shield is a wolf with a mane like a shield) but more generic pokemon show up too -- Sword gets a unique version of Farfetch'd
while Shield gets a trans-coloured Ponyta
120+ sound like it may be for both?
you don't really need to get both if you have Nintendo online, because the newer generations of Pokémon have online trading back in grade school, they had to have two gameboys plugged together with a link cable to make trades
Pokemon Snap was on Nintendo 64, it was a wierd spin off when you mention walking around and finding them was that on Switch? Pokémon Let's Go: Eevee Let's Go: Pikachu were basically a baby-mode remake of the original red and blue if you still own a copy it gives a unique bonus pokémon in sword and shield
it is prolly not as good as I remember from High School when it was a complex grind to get special traits and characteristics but still expecting it to be a heartwarming little adventure about collecting up various creatures

Those games have been getting so much shit online, but I'm still thinking about buying a switch just to play shield. Haven't played through one since silver, and a few others to incompletion. Any other games worth getting on the switch?

Smash bros is fun. You can play with up to 4 people against eachother so its good with friends and there is a campaign mode that is fun too.
I'll buy the new Pokemon I just can't decide on which one. That Ponyta looks super lame.
i wonder if you'll be able to ride the pokemon like in "Let's Go!". I freakin loveee flying my Charizard or riding around my Rapidash lol.

Soma and two others. They had a big sale but problem is playing certain games is like reading books. One doesn't get far in them before one has to quit from getting to fucked up.
Next Holiday season will be epic with the next generation consoles coming out. Seeing what grand theft auto 6 will be like and how epic they are making it. 3 cities and just what they are going to be able to design for gaming for these games.
Will have to set a alarm timer on gameplay. Even now do you ever feel before work or school or both that time just flies by before the grind? Well, it is going to get worse.

yeah a lot of issues with lazy coding and cutting corners they decided 800+ pokémon was too much, so they cut them down if your favourite starter was Bulbasaur or Squirtle you are fucked; if your favourite was Charmander you are in luck can comprehend both sides of it -- am personally looking forward to having a predominately new pokédex to fill out with content that is accessible between the two games but for people who spent years moving their favourites from one game to another through the generational trade systems it prolly sucks ass to lose all that in favour of a clean slate
also, do not mind a whole lot because despite Let's Go: Eevee being easy mode it let me get a Squirtle and raise it up to Blastoise in modern graphics and Squirtle was my first pokémon when starting blind before the cartoons all those years ago
have only played a few Switch titles so far Bayonetta 2 has been my favourite pickup Fire Emblem: Three Houses is really solid for an RPG/Strategy type if you are looking for that
have heard good things about Octopath Traveller trying to decide if the mobile aspect appeals to me enough, because it did go on to get realesed on PC as well

If it is a fairy/psychic type that can replace Mr. Mime for general gameplay, it is salvation if it is pure psychic, then Espeon is still my personal BIS
It has a similar sort of design theme to the Alolan Ninetails, and that changed from pure fire to ice/fairy but the animations in the trailer look like use of a psybeam

also, seem to recall footage already of riding pokémon
trailers have also not shown it, but they have changed the encounter system from the randoms in long grass to seeing them on the map and choosing combat like in Let's Go but, to my comprehension, it is a return to actual combat in overland wild encounters instead of the bullshit tap-to-throw-pokeballs-to-level-up system

It seems my recollection of this was incomplete they do not have the feature to have a pokémon follow you/ride larger ones but they frequently have NPCs appearing in the world with their pokémon in a manner similiar to what the player had access to in Let's Go
a bit of a bummer, but given how many people seem to ride bikes around the Wild Area in online mode and a memory of a meme about riding a bike on water they seem to have gone back to that for speeding up travel
no sign yet of the Gold and Silver era implementation of running shoes that let you move faster than default pace but that may be mitigated by the fact that an analog stick allows access to variable walk/run speed in a manner that a directional pad on its own did not

if having any real drawing talent at all would like to make a comic about "Pokémon in the UK-themed world" then have the chap who lets everyone pick their uniform number that will clearly distinquish them from other trainers deliver that line without energy, then sigh heavily as my character stands around with an
face
then have me turn around to two big crowds of other fresh pokemon trainers one all with the face and the uniform number of 420 and one of people giggling with the uniform 069 and no other numbers present, cept maybe some angsty looking kids with 666

Wreckfest, fucking killer game... Same guys that did the flatout series back in the day, with this one they went a little more for realism.
Basically in the same school as the old destruction derby games, only better.. The developers really do listen to the players which is awesome, a great team.. Took them fucking forever to finally release it, but they definitely polished it up, and the updates have been pretty substantial so far.
The crash and damage physics are top notch, basically every race is pure chaos, especially online lol, just finishing the race can be a feat in itself, let alone winning, but for real, I don'teven care if I win or not, the races are fucking fun, you never know wtf is gonna happen., a very refreshing change from the forza/gran turismo scene, where there's hardly any damage/crash physics.
The tuning system is not nearly even c!ose to as deep as forza/grand tourismo, which can be good or bad depending on the person, I'm one of those guys that like to fine tune the shit outta my cars in most racing games, but this doesn't bother me in wreckfest, it's really all about the crashes and carnage with this one, fucking love it!
If you're even a little bit interested in racing games, I highly recommend it.

Back to Civ. They do it different to get over a hundred dollars from one but whatever. Not as sneaky as other games.
I just miss the days of buying a game and that is what you got. Not endless quests and DLC's. It gets boring and feels like work.
Will be interesting a year from now with the new consoles and gaming for computers what it will be like. Getting tired of this shit.

Great game. I've only played the OG once, I think the last time was on a DS or something. I still prefer Final Fantasy .
Super Street Fighter II Turbo this morning.
