Replaying some Deus ex human revolution right now and loving it. I love anything involving biomechanical shit.

I love that I can play games for two hours on Steam and then return them. Last night I played the new Castlevania and it was fun, but 2 hours was good enough for that game.
I'm going to try the new Dragon Quest game even though the art looks like it's made for little girls. Anybody try this game? Any good?
Besides that I've been playing Rimworld off and on. I love that game!!!

Yeah, reached the 1000 hour point on time on it. People like to do different things on it with different leaders and bonus. Canada won for God's sake. Meeting people from all over the world when I come out of hibernation as Spring is here I always have to play Big Teddy Bear, National Park lover as am I. Feels like I am going against myself if I choose anyone else.
They majority of DLC's are garbage but I bought the two that mattered. Seriously it is like a heighted chess match with surprises thrown at one, not talking about the weather though it sucks when one is building a wonder for a long time and it is wiped out.
U just try to think like the programmers think. Learning curve. King level is done, ready for the next.

Am still making my way through playing as all the different civs currently playing as the Dutch, and it is a kind of interesting change where other civs had me panicking about getting flood barriers up to prevent losing tiles the Dutch have a neat capacity to plunk down their unique Polder improvement along coastlines and flooded tiles tend to better match the requirements (ie: the improvement requires 3 coastal tiles adjacent, so when a lowland floods it is suddenly surrounded by coast)
some of the non-flooding disasters can be pretty catastrophic as well when playing as the Inca, founded a city in the tundra to try and lock down Yosemite's bonuses then a blizzard went through, killed my citizens and ravaged all my improvements and districts it was kind of a sobering change from how relatively safe individual cities could be so long as they were far from enemy fronts

Yeah, Civ is savvy. It reflects reality. Will play some other civs in time. Moving on from King level.

been playing a bunch of Xcom2
Bethesda is currently giving away free copies of Morrowind through their bethesda.net launcher so downloaded that to sate my ocd about owning as many copies as possible
thinking of modding it out and putting a bunch of hours in so that whatever creepy tracking software they use to monitor what games people are playing through their launcher
skews some of their statistics to show them that giving away copies of a classic is a good move in the wake of the mess they have been making

Glad to get a new prisoner to Vvardenfell wake up, we're here, why are you shaking?
if you are totally new to Morrowind, would really suggest a quick viewing of Zaric Zhakaron's recently posted video specifically for the purposes
lists out the real necessary mods to get things running well on a modern system otherwise things can get a bit out of control with save sizes and game crashes basically just stability matters and bug fixes, nothing that will actually alter the game from the original experience
also has good advice for building a character Morrowind is more in line with Daggerfall than Oblivion wherein character stats determine your capacity to hit enemies even before damage is calculated many an unsuspecting adventurerer has waved a dagger uselessly at a kwama until it killed them

I'll check that out for sure. Double Thanks!!
First I have to finish Dragon Quest before I start this. Dragon Quest is way better than I thought it would be. It's like a kids RPG or something, hard to explain. It's fun, has a good story so far, and some funny jokes.

did end up setting up Morrowind, but have not jumped in for a revisit yet
got Tropico 6 so basically just live in Tropico now
it is a quality city builder, with the bonus that the tropic theme helps lift my spirits while the snow outside is still melting
am anything but good at the game; but the general vibe of being a corrupt dictator seems to make my ineptness feel less inappropriate

I've been thinking of jumping into a tropico game for a couple years now, just never pulled the trigger. Any one in particular good to start with or can you just jump into 6?
Has anyone played Risk of Rain2? That game looks amazing to me.
