Never really played Total War but liked the idea of the game, now that it's painted in Warhammer I'm all over it. & on sale on steam atm
the size and scope are a bit intimidating, i don't have those kind of hours to play and who wants to auto resolve everything? i enjoy the game but it seems clunky in some ways.
edit, been busy with heroes of the storm since my friend puled me into the nexus but outside of that not too much. when i get over my xcom2 butthurt i will start it up again, the long war 2 mod still needs tweaking but i can't really get into vanilla after enjoying long war 2.
hopefully will have some more gaming time soon. would enjoy a good rpg to get into.

What are your feelings on the Xcom2 DLC that was announced over E3?

Currently down loading Rise Of The Tomb Raider, 20th annaversery.
Edit: they need an up to dated through back of the 90's- early 2g Tomb Raider, this game has changed like a mofo since the ps 1&2 they should have left big titty Lora Croft as is.

Dustbowl had problems (not real "problems" but problems no-theless).
i tried this game RETZNOM -- a puzzle game that works with mirros,-- last few days it's on sale for under 2$-- but it just wasn't my thing; gave it a try, though.
sold 'em and got the double pack of "Breath Of Death VIII" (a first attempt game for the company devs) and- with that- "Cthulhu Saves The World"-- i am thinking of starting with that one...i am going to beat this subtle affair, before moving on the companies newest affair of gaming heart, Cosmic Star Heroine-- a sick Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy VI vibe to it, but...honestly, it looks kinda Sega-ish too, for some reason.

I bought ESO the other day, I'm addicted like it was crack.
I got it for the PS4 no less and am amazed at how well they were able to run an MMO on a console.

I think I might have to buy a Wii soon. I bought the Metroid Prime trilogy collector's edition for Wii last year (or maybe the year before) and like I wanted to honestly just have it. Perhaps never open it and hang it on the wall.
Unopened they're selling for $300+. But... I don't get things for resale value. I get them because I like them. And I've never played any of the Primes. Er... I think I played 3. Some of.
Then again, if they release Prime 4 like they plan the value of my metal cased collector's edition should rise and that could buy me a PlayStation 4... And then I can get the regular trilogy used for like 20 bucks, plus another 40 for a used Wii.
OR I can just put all of that on my credit card and go into mass amounts of debt like my parents did while hoarding things because I like them and delude myself into thinking they'll be worth lots of money some day.
Totally not posessively hovering over this right now

My main game I'm playing is still horizon zero dawn. Level 38. It's been epic. Some intense combat. And I'm really interested with the story.
Besides that, me and girlfriend are slowly chipping away at outlast 2 and the wolf among us for the ps4.

Dark Souls 3 on Xbone. 3rd playthrough. Just 3 more achievements to complete the entire list. Gonna go back to Demon Souls on PS3 at some point. Still on my first playthrough on that one.

Most adventure games are not made for people who don't have time to invest in gaming these days.
They're made for hardcore gamers that want 300+ hours of content.
Then again if you're playing a game with 300 hours of content and you play for an hour a day every day you'll finish within the year. Which is better than what I tend to do. I still haven't come close to finishing Limbo.
Though I think that may in part be due to the arrow keys. Might do better with a controller.

For all the dungeon crawlers
This lady has a pretty voice. I feel like it might be wasted on WoW parodies but then there are alot of people with beautiful singing voices that never do absolutely anything with them so

I don't know if we are talking about the same genres, but most adventure games max out around 50 to 100 hours. The most common is under 20 hours. God of war, last of us, uncharted, Zelda, etc....all completed in those timelines
300+ hours is an awful lot....reserved for conpletionists and games like skyrim, final fantasy, etc.

True. I'm thinking of more like open world level adventure games these days.
Other games in the adventure genre have expanded alot too. Which is generally a good thing. You spend 60 bucks on a game you don't want to kill it in a 24 hour binge.

Totally agree
this horizon zero dawn game is definitely a triple A title and is pretty damn big. I highly recommend it. Worth the money.

Caved and finally got the Morrowind expansion for ESO, so have jumped back in there rolled up a new character to test the new Warden class the forums say the class is pretty lackluster but the first unlockable skill for me was a healing spell that makes mushrooms grow around whoever is healed with it 11/10, new main
for real tho, am actually quite impressed with where the game has ended up there was a lot of pain-in-the-ass grinding issues during the transition from Veteran ranks to the full Champion system but now that the game is actually open in terms of exploration it works quite pleasingly being able to travel about and hit objectives in any order is nice and really does improve the Elder Scrolls vibe of the game
