Share with us your current gaming schedule and progress. Or whatever recent gaming ventures you wish to comment on.
I'm about to bust out Limbo. If I remember correctly I stopped playing because the blow dart kids were wrecking me.

Wish me luck guise

Civilization 6 Skyrim Special Edition Dishonored 2
Civ 6 when I'm ready to think and strategize -- Civ 6 has also presently replaced my time spent in Cities: Skylines when I feel like building for hours.
Skyrim when wanting to just turn my brain off and zone out for a while. It is not quite at the level of Oldrim with 400-500 mods, but have been playing it at a higher resolution with a fairly aggressive ENB+Reshade profile and about 50 mods -- it still performs significantly better and more smoothly than Oldrim ever did for me.

Dishonored 2 finished downloading late, so just put in a couple hours before laying down. The cutscenes and voice acting aggravate me for some unaccountable reason, maybe something in the pacing feels off, but the gameplay so far has been quite enjoyable. Playing as Emily, who has a nice varation of skills reminiscent of the original and a new toolkit to add further diversity to play. Already hate Bloodflies far more than rats though. Have not been really even inconvenienced by them in gameplay, but their buzzing and flitting makes me run around like a fool swinging my sword to kill the oversized mosquitoes.

Well, my most recent batch of anti-depressants my doctor has me trying has totally fucked my concentration so would like to be playing Total War: Warhammer right now either as Isabella Von Carstein, or the Fay Enchantress since both were added in a recent free update but cannot brain well enough to run an empire let alone even do basic battle strategies
so mostly been putting time into GTA Online, which recently got more new Stunt races and is giving double cash for participating in them right now working on saving up enough cash to start a motorcycle club just to also be able to buy the cannabis grow house to have a new set location to film on made a video a while back using the pot farm outside of the city but was not fully satisfied with it
aside from that, a bit of Fallout 4 on Survival mode

Mass Effect Andromeda no alien bewbs by 15 hours in 0/10
enjoying it so far, the combat is quite solid did my first boss fight against an Architect, the dodge mechanic is really satisfying even if it does feel like they wanted to rip off Soulsborne a bit, the combination of the active combat with the use of cover has a nice interplay the characterization of Ryder is pretty decent as well, like how they play up her inexperience and have her learning her way up
spend a fair bit of time just traveling around, boost jumping up mountains and buildings for views or driving the buggy into strange places
Look pretty consistently ridiculous tho, the character creation menu was so many steps back decided to just embrace the absurdity sent a picture of my character to my mom, since she covered the cost of the copy as a thanks for going and house sitting while she was on vacation she said it would look like me if the eyes were not so large

Will do so, but currently 28 hours in and 26% completion and the main story so far is pretty predictable but it is nice that they tied back to plot devices from the original series despite the whole 700 years later and a galaxy away factor brought back Dark Energy as something meaningful Do like that it introduced the new alien species but mostly prefer running side quests or quests for squad members or just exploring planets and the like
even in watching let's plays of 1-3, my favourite part was the interactions with team members rather than the overarching narrative
enjoy when sci-fi is more focused on just cruising the galaxy and how that impacts the crew of the ship kind of like Firefly

Well, if you prefer medieval fantasy over deep space then going to double down on my suggestion of Divinity:Original Sin but am clearly biased due to deciding to replay it recently while waiting on more content for Divinity: Original Sin 2 so take that as you will

Never played Destiny tho so feedback on that you will have to finds elsewhere

I think I might have to buy a Wii soon. I bought the Metroid Prime trilogy collector's edition for Wii last year (or maybe the year before) and like I wanted to honestly just have it. Perhaps never open it and hang it on the wall.
Unopened they're selling for $300+. But... I don't get things for resale value. I get them because I like them. And I've never played any of the Primes. Er... I think I played 3. Some of.
Then again, if they release Prime 4 like they plan the value of my metal cased collector's edition should rise and that could buy me a PlayStation 4... And then I can get the regular trilogy used for like 20 bucks, plus another 40 for a used Wii.
OR I can just put all of that on my credit card and go into mass amounts of debt like my parents did while hoarding things because I like them and delude myself into thinking they'll be worth lots of money some day.
Totally not posessively hovering over this right now

Oh hell naw, this is Pokemon. The last one I finished in about 30 hours. I've done close to 100 hours on certain games, but 300?
300? Child's play with a disability
+a few hundred more before the 360 died

+ about a thousand more between ps3 and a pirated copy

+ Civ 4 which was not on Steam

+ 7 other less frequently played characters, since the account allows 8
Pokémon Red had 150+ hours on it and Pokémon Ruby probably has nearly 400 due to all the pvp in high school

I'm ashamed to admit I've spent nearly 75,000 hours on these games alone. Unemployment + crippling anxious depression + drugs = lol life
At least I kinda made achievements in COD. At one point I was ranked among the top 5% of players in north america. Top 2% if I remember the ranking brackets correctly.
wish the same could be said about achievements and any of my time gaming wanted to get into 3d art as a byproduct of modding, but months of antidepressants killed all my motivation such that making it out of bed as far as the computer chair has become an accomplishment and my aspiration is simply to manage semi-productive things with my time instead of pissing it away gaming but gaming is frequently my only real distraction from compulsive thoughts of suicide so between a rock and a hard place
at least with online gaming there is the excuse of connecting with *someone* in society took up playing healers online on the premise that, at very least, could make an evening of gaming more pleasant for someone who has a job, a family, and an actual life and just wants to have a gaming night

That's insane. I only have one game with comparable hours, I was hooked for a couple years. My next most played games don't even come close, I'm embarrassed of this one:

I'm surprised you played Fallout 4 so much. I thought people weren't as pleased with that one. On another note, I need a gaming rig again. All I got is this busted ass screen Macbook.

just about to start this game

i played a bit of Ctuhulu Saves The World (same devs) and it was pretty funny for a parodic LRPG affair...this game is way more fleshed out and a full on SNES/Genesis 16-bit Retro affair, more indicative of Phantasy Star or Chrono Trigger.
i hope it's good!

It took an extra day to download because my Steam fucked up but have jumped head first into this
They changed around stats and racial passives from beta to launch so my planned out run as a finesse-based Elf was no good anymore spent 10-12 hours poking around with builds to figure out what appeals to me on the new specs running a dual wielding Dwarf dodgetank/paladin build

about to escape the tutorial zone finally, but have been going through unlocking all the different options to get as much exps as possible
my OCD has been crazy lately and it has clearly spilled into my gaming, which is supposed to be my reprieve e.e

Shadowrun may have the easiest 'answer' or insight into this Orcs/Dwarves/Elves/Trolls/Undead are the most closely human-esque variations and fantasy racism is a mainstay of fantasy titles but 'good' fantasy creates its own world and contextualizes the racism that way
even beyond the staples, digging into it further Lizards/Argonians/Lizardman (Warhammer) are effectively represented as Dragonborn from D&D and Skaven (Warhammer again) are paralleled with Ratfolk from D&D having anthro animals is a good way to profit off of furries but there is not enormous call for them beyond that
outside of those we are really looking at non-bipedal creatures as characters
Would really dig if Divinity let me play a variation of a Drider

but such a scenario is unlikely due to how game design works Humanoid races can all be programmed with similar skeleton and animation packs cuts down on overall work flow adding a Drider playable race would be a lot of extra modeling and animation work for content they cannot ensure a majority, or even an appreciable amount, of players will engage with
so largely it is due to design costs but also partially due to the whole nothing new under the sun side of things

Yeah, bought it last time it was on sale and returned it because every 30 seconds it would drop to 10fps before going back to normal watched a number of streams before deciding to get it

Near Dylan said: ...There are literally hundreds of races you can play as and half of them are bipedal and "humanoid". You know why? ...
Because Stellaris races are represented as portraits on a flat background not 3d models with full animation packs significantly cheaper graphics style, and takes a lot less time to work with

Ive grown to hate fantasy games becauuse they are all exactly the same right down the combat. Imo, make your own goddamn game or dont make one at all.
Stellaris is a pretty standard 4x game with a space theme Is it your first, or did you play stuff like Ascendancy back in the 90s?

Personally put more time into Populous
which likely plays some role in my more recent appreciation for the Civilization series and definitely plays into my love of Black and White 1 and 2 which it was effectively the precursor to
