Most Useless Inventions 2

I received an ad for this device, the Kulerpro, which is essentially an extravagant machine that..... cools down your food.
Yes folks, it's an electronic machine and its sole purpose is to cool down your food that is too hot for immediate consumption.
This is such a useless and garbage product, why would anybody bother even designing or engineering such a thing... I mean first off, food is much better piping hot than it is cooled down.
And I've never bit into a piece of steak or pasta and thought, "This is way too hot." The only time I could even see this being useful is for soups and fried foods, but even then, I would prefer hot over cool. And seriously, waiting for something to cool down doesn't take that long. Why is this product even necessary?
This is their promo video and link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/kulerpro-food-cooking--2#/
Feel free to add to the thread with other useless inventions.

You know what a spoiled nation we are when we have devices made available to us so that we don't have to unnecessarily suffer by waiting for food to cool down.

Here I found it:
Hahahahahhahhahahahaha dude what the hell, I've never once gotten hair stuck in my asscrack in the shower
HAH, I just found the original kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/showerapron/the-shower-apron
What the fucking hell, these people have the nerve to charge $50 for one of those shower apron things? With only a 3 month warranty? Those fucking scam artists!
Then, strangely, if you want 2 aprons, with a 1 year warranty, it costs triple at $150. Whoever was the CFO needs to be fired immediately.
Goddamn, I would love to see this lady go on an episode of Shark Tank and get ripped to shreds.

Most of my inventions are poop related. They include:
The Airnema. The world's first pneumatic water-less enema. CO2 cartridges not included.
No More Dingleberries. Basically a teflon coated plastic funnel that you insert the wide end into the anus which means that poop does not make contact with the outer anus and you'll never have to wipe again.
Dry Shit Out Yo' Poop Box. A semi-permanent mechanical device which is inserted into the colon that automatically wraps all outgoing turds in a thin film of plastic so that you are able to just pick it up with your hands and throw it in the trash. No muss No fuss. Great for homelessness, the office, and sports games alike.

You eat tuna almost every day? You've never gotten mercury poisoning?
What's the point of buying that strainer though, you can simply strain the juices out by pressing the lid of the can against the tuna while holding the can upside-down, works just as well and nothing falls out.
I personally drink the juice that comes out.

OH!!!! I didn't notice it was attached to the wheel like that. I assumed it was connected to some hinge behind the steering wheel.

Not that I know of Guess I'd be better off just buyin a new can opener, mine doesn't cut around the inside like most can openers, it cuts around the perimeter so it's easier to have tuna squirt into the sink when I strain it since it doesn't let me push down, I have to take the whole top off then strain.

I had a shrimp peeler that mangled the shrimp. Taking the shell off by hand and using a paring knife to de-vein them worked far better and was actually still faster than using the tool, and left my shrimp looking great. Any specialized tool that does a worse job than your fingers and a $5 victorinox paring knife is waste of $ POS.

There are so many useless cooking inventions out there, it's not even funny. Peeling shrimp takes less than a second if you know what you're doing.
I mean I could understand the need for such an item if it was able to automatically peel multiple shrimp at a time, but if you're manually having to peel each shrimp individually, it basically amounts to the exact same thing as peeling a shrimp by hand.
Here's another dumb one, this cylindrical corn on the cob cutter.
I mean, first off, corn comes in many different sizes, and you'd have to use the perfect sized corn for it to work in a cylinder like that. Second, people eat corn on the cob like what, maybe 3 times a year?
Maybe I could see buying one of these if you're running a restaurant or food business that uses a lot of corn. But otherwise I'll just stick to slicing corn with a knife, thanks.

I actually enjoy my foods piping hot, Korea has a dish called sun tofu where the soup comes out still boiling in a clay pot and you eat it while it's boiling.
Fried foods taste the best straight out the fryer, while they are still too hot to handle with your fingers. I hate it when I get lukewarm fries from a fast food place, ready-made piping hot ones are the best.

I gotta say, im with Pris on this one. I one caught a a fish near a thermal, and since we always love to do sushi on the spot when were fishing (for freshness) that device would have been nice. instead we had to wait for the tube worm meat to cool down. ps: and yes, even a hot salad, in my opinion should be eaten cool

Yup, I've discovered that too. A lot of shit I see on those types of websites are products that were already made in the 80's or 90's.
Just proves that all you need is good marketing to sell something.
I'm watching an episode of Shark Tank right now, these 2 douchebags on this show made $250K a year by selling written messages on potatoes, and the kicker is they are selling each potato for $14.99 WTF!!!!
And it's not even a professionally printed message on the potato, your message is fucking written with a Sharpie. On a potato that probably was purchased for less than 99 cents.
The part that made me want to cry the most was when they actually landed a deal with a shark.

What do you mean? You caught a fish that was naturally swimming in a thermal pool or something? How hot was the fish's temperature? I'm so confused. I didn't even know fish could thrive naturally in temperatures that hot.

No, but it's like with hot sauce. If you keep exposing yourself to hotter and hotter foods gradually and slowly, over time you will eventually develop resistance to heat.
With soups that are boiling and what not, you simply blow on the spoon first. There is a technique to eating hot foods, you have to sip the spoon instead of putting the whole spoon in your mouth, you should also breathe in air at the same time you slurp because that helps to cool it down... but cooked foods just taste better when they're hot.

It would never occur to me to eat a fish caught around one of those areas, especially raw. I'd imagine whatever parasites are living inside of them have probably adapted to extreme heat conditions and are probably very difficult to kill.

Mmmm, that might be true. I honestly wasn't even aware you could eat fish that exist in those kind of areas.
I mean, they say like 70 percent of tropical fish are poisonous to humans. So I would just worry about blindly eating any fish in abnormal waters I suppose.

I have a mexican ice cream shop by my house that serves mexican style corn in the cup. (you know with mayo butter/margerine chili power and that parm cheese like stuff.)
Shut is delicious and they are constantly making corn in the cob and use a knife to strip the kernels. That device might be useful for them actually

Even the Airnema? It's basically a tapered space age anodized aluminium compressed gas cartridge cracker that you insert into the anus and break the seal, then all the poo and toxins comes out of the colon is a huge fart rush.
I was going to put the down payment on an infomercial but wasn't sure, thanks for the encouragement!

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't think corn slicers are a bad idea, especially if you are running a restaurant that uses a lot of corn. Just that particular corn slicer is not a good one, because you'd need a perfectly sized corn to be able to fit it in there. Some corn are a lot bigger than others.
There's other corn slicers out there that would probably be better than a pre-shaped cylinder one, like these below:
Anyways why don't you tell them about these types of inventions next time you're there, maybe they'll buy one
