:awethumb:  Do you think the introduction of the mycelium helped the overall health of your garden?

My soil was sand with rocks so yes, its helping with breaking down all the mulch i trucked in. Also im sure its no coincidence my biggest kale plant had a huge mushroom cluster under it.

Stepping up and down the paths doesn't damage anything?  Not talking about the fruit bodies, but whats growing underneath.

Once its compacted it stays like that, and yea of course fruit bodies will get smashed but im not too concerned about fruits.

They are thriving under the row covers i now have up. Higher humidity and lower sun light, came out a lot softer and taller.

Nice job grower! I'm playing around with mush in mulch in our raspberry plantation. Results are great. We got out 150 kilo of rasberries this year wich is definitely a record. Not sure if it's the organic material that we brought in that made the difference, or the mush that made more nutrients available. I tend to think it's the myc.
Anyway, just wanted to know if you put in any reishi. Till now I spawned only SRA and spent oyster substrates in the rows. But I wonder if I can just spread out reishi rye berries in the mulch, or do you some kind of heat treatment of the mulch?
