Woodland Foods Rye Berries?
    #23823808 - 11/11/16 06:16 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

I just picked up a 25lb bag of woodland foods rye berries from a local store that ordered it in... I had organic in my specs but this does not say organic.

Is organic really that important, or has anyone used this brand?

Thanks in Adv.

Currently I am using Cracked Corn (I had a large bag laying around I use to feed the birds with and it costs like 6 bucks for a 50lb bag)

I will admit its a pain in the arse to clean... maybe I am cleaning it too much but it seems to be working just fine for me that is.

But with rye that is not labled organic and cracked corn I am sure they spray all kinds of stuff on it (shit its prolly from seed that is GMO) I would assume that a 24 hr soak and rinse of rye would wash off any fungicides and pesticides...

But you know I figure its a decent question to ask.
