Alternatives to food dehydrators are sub par. Dehydrators are no1 for drying shrooms Dehydrators do not have bulbs in them easy bake ovens do. You want a food dehydrator that goes to at least 160F. Dry mushrooms at 160-170F in the dehydrator for best results
This has been repeated 10000000x times. Its hard not to find it if you search

I dry to air dry them and lost a whole batch, they got real green and moldy... so I don't want to risk air drying them again, I rather use a dehydrator

Hey bro, I have an older FD from the 90s. Still works fine but only goes up to around 135F. Should be okay to use right? Just takes longer? Do you rotate your trays and turn them or do you just let them set and forget until cracker dry!
Thx-
Nevermind it works fine. After 7 hours my fruits were cracker dry. I wish they didn't shrink to 10% dry weight.
