It is safe to grow now right?.. As long as it's in an enclosed area?.. Up to six plants?..
I'm confused about the whole thang..

Cuz I was reading something about city ordinances or sum shit, but I'm not sure how that works or if that only applies to commercial growers and what not..

Indeed.
I'm curious what the technical definition & "fine print" is on the grow not being publicly visible and in a locked space. I Need to read up on text & jargon of it all.
I'm wondering if a simple wood shed/structure built in my back yard with a lock on it will be legit?

It's a $250 fine for growing more than your allowed 6 plants, and/or if your grow doesn't abide by the cultivation laws .
"Adults could cultivate up to six plants and possess the marijuana from these plants at their residence for personal use (Sec. 11362.1(3)). No more than six plants per residence.
All plants and harvested marijuana in excess of one ounce must be (1) kept with the person's private residence or on its grounds, (2) in a locked apace, and (3) not visible from a public place. (11362.2). Violations of (1) – (3) are punishable as infractions with a maximum $250 fine. . Cities and counties may regulate and restrict personal use cultivation, but cannot completely prohibit cultivation inside a private residence or accessory structure that is "fully enclosed and secure."
I read the actual text of AUMA as well...and it seems like as long as the plants are out of public view and within a "structure" (grow shed, etc...) that has a lock, it's legal.
I really want to grow outdoors under the sun though...so much cheaper to go this route, I don't have the $ to put together an indoor grow set up.
I just want to grow some plants damn it .

just a large fence with a locked gate. Make sure it's tall enough to block out visibility of the plants when they are grown.

How much weed can I get from 6 plants? Weed has never been worth the risk for me to grow because it was easy enough to buy. I know nothing about growing it and am pretty excited to try this out. I might make a shed frame and wrap it in green house plastic or windows from the junk yard.
Next we need to work on recreational LSD and Poppy Pods!

That can really depend on the strain and how much of a green thumb you have. 6 plants could be a QP.. it could also be a dry pound per plant, easy. I've seen some pretty fucking hefty plants.

Ive got another question concerning edibles, like can I start baking away in my kitchen and like not have to worry about stinking up the place or the smell going out to my neighbors and what not?.. Is that legal?.

This should totally be fine, I don't see why not .
When I read the actual text of AUMA I don't recall ever seeing a portion of it that went into the topic of edibles being made at home for personal use. I'm damn near positive this is totally legal now, I personally wouldn't have any worry or hesitation to do so ..... (unless one is making them to sell, in which case they would technically need some sort of license, as well as be inspected and up to par on code for producing edible goods that the public is going to consume)
If someone has an indoor home grow that wasn't being filtered and the neighbors were complaining of the odor, they can call the cops and the cops would likely just slap the grower with a ticket at worse (if not just tell the grower to filter the grow to keep odor down)....But if there's some temporary odor from baking edibles, I really doubt that's enough reason to get fined and doubt there's any specific laws against such.
