LOL, well said. I think he can be a funny guy alright, but when he said that BERZERK DESTROYER wasn't funny at all I had to call him out. BD's wit is so sharp I bet he could cause papercuts and possibly chop limes with it. Easily the member of the community that has left me in absolute stitches with his words the most times.

No. He went on my ignore list a long time ago. I don't know what he was trying to do but it was like watching a 12 year old in angst do anything to get noticed by his peers. He is the very definition of shitposting.... it is literally shit. Some shitposters here are funny with style and wit but Sheekle....

We're not that kind of organisation. The admins get a fair wage for the hours we put in doing administrative work. Since the Shroomery almost runs itself nobody's making close to a living out of it.
The Shroomery is very healthy. We are not the kinds of CEO's who rake in the money putting the business at risk or use it as our private piggybank. We're robust. We can handle a setback or a pair of extra hands on board.

I see, so it's more like a hobby that pays a little than something which the staff/investors can use to support themselves on? I guess that means you guys have other jobs on the side then?
Man I'd fucking love to be involved in something like the running of this place (which I suppose I already am!). I've never known a website that brings together so many good people, and helps those people with advice and a fun place to relax and socialise.
God I don't half make it obvious how much I love this place sometimes don't I?

Given what we on average make in a month and we don't live in Uganda, nope we can nowhere near support ourselves on what we make

At least it's something to supplement your income, and something very special at that. I was having a chat with the cleaner in my office yesterday morning who's from Ghana, and the poor bastard has to get up at 2am every day and works 3 jobs, finishing between 7-9pm at night, just to survive in this city and support his family.
It was soul crushing to hear how little time he's able to spend with his boy in order to provide for him. I know what's like having an absent father.
I feel very uplifted by hearing how many I talk to lately seem to be noticing how unhealthy the trend of their work/life balance is and are making plans to change it so that they can spend more time on the important things; friends, family, oneself and love - even if it means sacrificing income.
I'd encourage anyone I care about to find ways of making money for themselves, without being employed by a company. It seems to me an immensely healthier option, all things considered.

I'm glad you feel that way. I feel this way about Sheekle:

(perfectly worded Malcom) - He's tolerable cause he's predictable, and much as he played with me in my novice days of the social internet, I now like playing the game back. It's fun.
Whereas you Webter are the most insufferably arrogant human I've ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Your ego is the size of a planet, and the way you scream from the rooftops about how great you are makes me want to vomit and feed my face into a belt sander at the same time.
Please don't warm to me. I might have to do something drastic if you ever repeat that sentiment, like self-immolate.

I really don't. Sheekle only exits between when fight club starts and when fight club ends.
I mostly spend my free time thinking about love, communing with god, and how pissed off I am at life that it's taken everything I love away from me. Especially sex and women. I'm like a pouty fucking schoolboy about that shit.
Sheekle doesn't stand a chance of a look in amongst such grave concerns.

Not really, I'm past being butthert by the goings on here. I'd be a fucking idiot if I still let it get to me like I did in my early mod days. I just find Webster to be one of the most foul humans I've come across in recent years. And that's saying something - of the hundreds of people I've met and had brief, but heart to heart interactions with over the past year, I've only met one IRL and one online I didn't like.
The IRL dude was some Irish fucker I spent a night on the streets with smoking crack and Heroin, and getting to know the hookers and other homeless guys on the streets of kings X after Notting Hill Carnival.
The online dude is Webster.
I don't resent anyone, but I see 2 people amongst hundreds I've loved that display what I feel are the worst characteristics of being human. Maybe I'm being a judgemental prick, I don't pretend to be better than anyone else. I just know when I see traits in others I don't like, and it happens so rarely that it's quite a blow when it does.

Sheekle is the single most annoying member on this forum by a wide margin. Having him on ignore is the only way to make this forum palatable.
