Hey guys, I need a little help. This tray has been in a SGFC for almost a month. Not sure if I should toss it or wait it out. The tray has started to turn yellowish brown. The pictures are right after misting so they look a little wet. I really appreciate any advice.

They look like metabolites to me, but you should have growth after a month.
So that's pointing to a serous case of bacteria.
Do you mean its been fruiting in your mono for a month ?
I think you have some terms mixed up. Give me a rundown on what you did after you spawned.

Hey Th3Issu3, I really appreciate the reply.
This project has been trouble since the beginning. This is my first bulk attempt. I spawned rye which looked solid and smelled good to pre-pasteurized mushroom compost. I let it colonize for about a month which seemed way too long, but it wasn't fully colonized and was colonizing super slow. I was worried it would dry out so I decided to put the trays into fruiting conditions before the trays were fully colonized. At this point, the trays have been in the SGFC for about a month. I have more rye going but I am reluctant to trash these because I thought it looked like metabolites as well.
To answer your question, yes the trays have been in fruiting conditions for a month with no pinning and little to no growth. I did accidentally crack the substrate which has started to heal but not much.
Thanks again for your help.

Hella bacterial, and dying yellow myc from when it got dry. You also shouldn't be misting so much when you do mist. No pooling water.

Should the large amount of metabolites let me know it's bacterial or because the time that has passed? Want to make sure I can identify quickly in the future.
