Sure. They'll last a couple months at the very least.

Okay Q two...
Q) now i take my LC syringe out of the fridge and I inoculate a grain jar. How many days does it take to start showing growth?
the reason for this question is its been averaging about 3 days till I start seeing noticeable growth (my LCs are a little on the weak side) I thought from all the reading it should be like an overnight deal... and only spores take 3 days to germinate
Sorry if I am asking dumb ass shit!

How did you make the LC? (what did you inoculate it with especially)

basically i did a bunch of different ones but it so far has been 300ml of water to 1 tablespoon of either honey or corn syrup... and I did a clone on some and multi-spore on the others... they are all preforming the same... the only thing i have noticed is honey took longer but was WAY THICKER in mycelium then Corn syrup

I'm sure you've heard it before but spores to LC is no good, so easy to get bacterial LC that stalls out halfway through colonizing. Did you take the clone to agar first or just straight to LC?
3 days for LC does seem a bit long. Usually it takes around 48 hours for me to see growth (sometimes less).
Let's see what others say also, I don't use LC often.

clone was straight to LC...
Umm when you say staled out.. do you mean in the grain jars or after spawning??

Clones can bring bacteria with them too, it's a good idea to put them to agar first.
I was referring to grain jars but dirty spawn can fuck your monos/trays/whatever too.

My bad on this one!
let me say my eyes are not as good as they use to be! second I am doing this in a not so well lighted basement.
I took the jars upstairs and into the actual bright sunlight and this is what happened.
the LC I guess dripped down through the grain and started in the center.. I noticed growth half way down and so I shook them a little and to my surprise they are close to 1/3 done there is a ton of mycelium growth.
This whole time I was looking at the top of the grain.
Thanks Guys!

Well if it was a clone from a plate he would of been ok and ya you should always clean up spores on agar for sure ... i made one when i first tried this hobby and it turned out horrible never did it again
